First time we ate here, the food was so delicious!! But the second time the food was not as good nor the service as the first time. Ordered the Baklava and it tasted nothing like it should. It was horrible.

Best chicken kebab

We ordered the family koobideh. It was so much food I took the leftovers. Friendly staff, didn't even have to ask for refills. They automatically give you more. The food was delicious 😋. I'll definitely go again. Plenty of free parking in a nearby structure

I stopped by to pick up lunch and ordered the chicken pesto panini. It was absolutely delicious! The food is truly great, and it comes with a generous side salad. Considering the price and portion size, this is an amazing lunch deal. You definitely must try it!

The food was very good. The one complaint is that the air conditioning was not turned on and it was very warm inside. We asked two different employees to turn it on and it was never done. Spend some money to make your patrons comfortable.

Boisterous, the lively diners create a din of conversation, competing for attention at times, usually due to birthday celebrations and the related jaunty songs, all bearable and adding to the charm of the place. Social hour isn't why people pack the house, it's the food. Offering a mix of Mediterranean and coastal Persian fares like zesty Koobideh and temder chicken skewers. My fave is the flat iron steak skewer for a fine repast or a combo of the former two skewers when I want to feast to the point of becoming overfull. Lighter options like the strawberry salad or a variety of quintessential paninis are always good choices. The pasta, while not something I've regularly had, has been al dente, and the sauces are seasoned well without any overbskance or over indulgences. This chain became a go to place for their consistently high quality and low prices whether in the OC or downtown Los Angeles. They've a family combo or two which easily feeds several people, which comes with a few skewers and massive amounts of rice and salad at a price that just can't be beat by most eateries. At least a few dozen visits, if not closer to 50 lunches and dinners when including the many takeouts since 2020, have established Panini Kebab as a stalwart and reliable restaurant chain that I'm usually eager to revisit. That any location may have only minor variance in the menu but still produce an excellent quality of food, keeps Panini Kebab in the rotation now and in the future.
To the restaurant I say: kudos and keep up the good work, you're doing great!

We had a very delicious lunch. However, for some reason, there was a strange smell on the terrace. I don't think the restaurant is bad, but it bothered me a little.

Both a soup and beef kabob were cold. Supposed to bring big group of people to eat but absolutely not coming back. Do better.
