I just had an amazing meal at Phan55, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! It was my first time there, and I wasn’t sure what to order, but the kind lady at the front gave me a great recommendation. Ordered the Mint Basil Rice on Uber Eats. Ordered at 6:34 PM it was handed over to the driver only at 7:40 PM. When the food finally arrived, it was food was barely cooked. The chicken was raw and so were the vegetable. I spoke to the owner Susie and she asked me to send pictures. She apologized and asked me to come see her on any Tuesday or Wednesday when she would be present. I reluctantly went there on a Tuesday only to learn that she wasn’t there. I texted and she asked me to ask the staff to call her. When they did, she never picked up. I left and texted her again and she wanted me to come back on another Tuesday.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Phans55 in Irvine. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality, and the service was exceptional.
The highlight of my visit was the owner, Suzie, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and passion for great food and customer service made the experience even more special.
As for the food, every dish was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were spot on. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was executed perfectly.
Phans55 is definitely a place I’d HIGHLY recommend

This is one of my favorite spots to go. Love their egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls. Good quality food with reasonable price. Not to mention great service.
We waited for the place to open, but they never did, did see the person in the kitchen. However no lights were on no one to open the door past opening time.

I’ve been a fan of Phans55 for years, especially their pho from the 6000 Scholarship location. Unfortunately, since that spot has been closed, I decided to try the Los Olivos location for takeout.
Today I called between 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM, well before their 8:00 PM closing time, but they repeatedly picked up and hung up the phone without saying anything. It was clear they didn’t want to take my order, which was frustrating and unprofessional. As a loyal customer, I expect better service, especially when there’s still time to place an order.
The food at Phans55 is great, but this kind of service is a major letdown. I hope management takes steps to address this, so others don’t experience the same disappointment.
