Puesto Los Olivos Irvine

Puesto is usually a go to for their food quality and service. Today it fell short. Service was just “ok” and same with the food

We had such a lovely meal at Puesto Los Olivos. Just love their chicken Al pastor taco and paired with the filet mignon taco, it is a real flavor treat. Love their unique and flavorful food at Puesto, along with the beautiful ambiance, but their staff is what truly elevates the experience. Our server Brandon made us feel like welcome and cherished guests. Brandon was friendly, attentive, professional and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. While I love their Margaritas, I was so pleased to see the addition of a non alcoholic version added to the menu. The N/A passion fruit margarita was beautiful and delicious.

We usually go to the Anaheim location and have a great experience. The waitress was hardly ever around and was clueless how to be a waitress it seemed. The food was ok, but not great here. Highly disappointed for the cost of the food. We will not be back to this location.

For some reason we were sat in the open patio and felt it was like the kids table (the other parties sat there all had kids). We asked to be moved to an open booth (both of which were empty throughout our meal) and were not.

Always delicious. We never skip the Puesto Perfect Guacamole with big chunks of parmesean in it!

I call this gourmet Mexican cuisine, beautiful & delicious. Not cheap. But try their Agua Frescas, just $6 & fabulous.

Food came out cold, sent it back, still came out cold again. Thinking the health department should come check their temperatures!!

Very long wait times for our food. It look over an hour for a party of 4 to receive 11 tacos.

This was a business lunch. The server completely missed a meal, blamed the kitchen (maybe that was the case) and then brought the wrong meal. This absolutely interrupted the flow of the meeting and although the meal was removed from the bill, the mistake was given very little attention. Side note, clearing the table was quite rushed and server dropped the silverware (with food on it) on my weather and pants. Very little acknowledgment of it and just ran away as quickly as possible.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. We made a 7:15 reservation and arrived on time and were told we’d be seated within 5 minutes, just to not be seated until 7:45. After being seated our server arrived saying, “the host told you about the wait, right?” We were not told about the wait and the server said it would be an HOUR for food. The host did not say anything about this wait and we were made to wait over 30 minutes to be seated just to hear this information. The server said “I wouldn’t blame you if you just left, that’s what I would do.” We immediately left.

We were a party of seven who came for lunch and we sat out in the patio which was nice and quiet; allowed us to hear each other talk! The service and food were great. The only drawback (and the reason we will be unlikely to return) was how incredibly expensive lunch was. :(

Absolutely the best! Puesfo Irvine is my go-to spot — the food is amazing, the meat is always super fresh, and the location couldn’t be better. Every dish tastes authentic and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and everything is spotless. If you’re in Irvine and love great food, you’ve got to try Puesfo!

Food is good but overpriced. Honestly, Chipotle is cheaper and tastes just as good, if not better.

You can't go wrong with Short rib taco :)
