AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered a lamb curry and it was basically a flavorless broth with boiled lamb chunks. Hands down the worst Indian I've ever had. I would have returned it had I not driven back home.

This is a hidden restaurant of authentic Indian curries and I'm sure it guarantees the most quality and flavor in the area. I had chicken marquee and vandalu combo number four and I feel healthy! If you're in Irvine, make sure you visit this place!!

Food is amazing! Perfect amount of spice. It's in a food court and it's the highlight of the spot. This is your place if you're looking for good authentic Indian flavors.

Just had dinner with my wife and son, we ordered three chicken dishes, a paneer dish, a lamb curry a chickentt briyani, garlic naan (best garlic bread we’ve ever had anywhere) cheese naan and their deserts. Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Im not Indian but it is easy to tell that this place is very authentic. They are also very generous with all their portions. Best food we’ve had in a while.

Punjabi Tandoor in Irvine, California, is a culinary gem that tantalizes taste buds with its Indian cuisine. Their lunch combo, priced at $12.99 plus tax, as described below. The chicken curry had tender pieces of chicken are enveloped in a rich, aromatic sauce that perfectly balances spices and creaminess. Each bite is an explosion of flavor that will leave you craving more. The chicken tikka masala, consisted of well cooked pieces of chicken immersed in a velvety delicious sauce, infused with a medley of spices that dance on your palate.Accompanying these delectable curries is a side of saag, a vibrant spinach dish that adds a touch of freshness and earthy flavors to the meal. The saag is cooked to perfection, retaining its vibrant green hue and delivering a delightful balance of spinach, spices, and a hint of creaminess. To complement the flavorful curries and saag, Punjabi Tandoor provides fluffy naan bread, the perfect vehicle for scooping up every morsel of the rich sauces. The naan is freshly baked, boasting a delightful softness and a slight char that enhances its flavor. As a sweet finale to this culinary journey, Punjabi Tandoor offers rice pudding. The rice is cooked to a creamy consistency, infused with the delicate sweetness of milk and sugar. It's the perfect ending to a satisfying meal.Punjabi Tandoor's lunch combo is a good deal at $12.99 plus tax. I only wish the portions would be more generous. The attendant was very nice and answered all my questions. Punjabi Tandoor is sure to delight your senses and leave you craving more.

Stumbled upon this small Indian joint tucked away in a local food court, and oh boy, was it a lucky find! The space might be compact, but the explosion of flavors they serve up is colossal. Their Chicken Tikka Masala and Rogan Josh are the best you can find around. In a nutshell, this place is a hidden gem that's serving up some serious Indian cuisine goodness. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and looking to satisfy those curry cravings!

Ordered a combo on doordash that included channa masala, garlic naan (+$3), rice and a small container of kheer. Also ordered 12oz chicken makhani, another order of garlic naan, mango lassi, and two chutneys (tamarind and mint). Overall, aside from the lassi and chutney, the taste of all of the food was pretty bland and underwhelming. The channa masala and kheer were watery and lacked flavor. The garlic naan also lacked garlic - it felt like it was just regular naan. Maybe I ordered too close to closing or the wrong items but would unlikely return to this Indian restaurant. I lastly, I'll add that the lassi and chutney were delicious!

Ridiculously overpriced for the food we ordered. Terrible service and as an Indian I cannot recommend this place. Not even mediocre go to natraj tandoori instead

May be it's one of the day, we got samosas and paneer pokoda, no salt in either items, but green chutney very salty and paneer pokoda for $6+ got 7 tiny tasteless paneer pokoda...what else to say :(
