Robata Wasa

I was able to make it here early last month after just walking around and exploring and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes. I also really enjoyed the toro and got the largest portion. I sound at the bar. All of the sushi chefs were very friendly as well as the servers. If you’re chasing good Toro this is a solid spot for sure.

The turo is so buttery, melt in your mouth delicious. The salmon was the same! Had a few special rolls that all were so fresh and delicious.

i’ve been here 3 or 4 times and have always really enjoyed the food and experience. my server at the bartop was great.

Everytime I go here I'm greeted with professional staff and outstanding service! The servers are very respectful and appetizers and entrees come out at perfect times. The food itself all brings up unique flavors and I encourage trying new things each time as there's so much to the menu! The inside of the restaurant takes Japanese themes and incorporates a sort of modern style to it that fits the location and time. It's a staple when I'm at the spectrum, I highly recommend it!

Nice sushi restaurant in the Irvine spectrum with nice ambience.

They have both indoor seating and outdoor patio.

Order the seasonal Hokkaido roll, crispy lobster roll, salmon and lemon pepper roll, spicy yellow tail tataki roll, and volcano roll.

Okay so I usually don’t write reviews but I couldn’t leave without sharing my experience I had with my family at Roberta Wasa. MICHAEL was the most professional and friendly server I had came across in a very long time. The food was amazing everything tasted delicious and the service was top notch. Thank you for making us feel so special. We will visit you very soon.

Sushi was delicious from nigiri to specialty rolls. The bowls were just ok - stir fry meat was very fatty and we hardly ate it. Mostly rice.

Service was extremely slow, and an item was forgotten until we were about to pay our check and we had to ask for it (edamame).

Large booths available, given the location it is usually busy, so make reservations. Prices are very expensive - not sure it's worth it in value but here's the job done.

This has been one of our new sushi spots. Sushi quality is amazing. Service is awesome and great vibe in Irvine Spectrum. Very accommodating for the family as well. Volcano roll is awesome

Flies everywhere, the raw fish was warm and it did not taste fresh. It took 40 minutes for the entrees to come out and it wasn't even busy.

The Bartender, Mike had the best service and custom cocktails I've ever had at Robata Wasa. Mike created 3 delicious Seasonal Drink Cocktails on the Seasonal menu that are amazing. I tried the Suntory Blossom martini and the Kuro Kohi... amazingly good. Refreshing, not too sweet with complex flavors.
