They make decent coffee and espresso drinks. Good seasonal options. Prices are $.50-1.00 more than other equivalent places. They also don't allow personal reusable cups and then don't have a recycle or compost option.

This coffee shop is over priced. I have been to better coffee shops in Laguna, Newport and around for $2 less. The pastries and donuts do not taste great and are extremely over priced. Not enough tables outside. The coffee is very selective and not too many options. Also they have no phone line and no way to reach them.

Love that there are different types of seating arrangements and the coffees are good. Also has a water hydration station! Nice ambience for reading and chatting.

I've had this place bookmarked for a bit and finally got the chance to go yesterday. It did not disappoint! The place is in an office plaza, so its a little hidden if you're not looking for it. Ambiance inside is great with plenty of seating inside and few tables outside. Got my usual latte and it was delicious! Good coffee flavor (bonus points for using Sightglass coffee!), shot wasn't bitter or acidic and good foam to make latte art! Personally, I love the 'for here' option to drink from a mug. Pastries are also good. I got their ham and cheese which had a good ham to croissant ratio lol. Service is also great! Everyone was really nice and they're also quick to make drinks/food. Good spot to get some work done, hang out, etc. I loved it so much, I went back this morning. I only wish I lived closer.

Friendly staff, quality drinks and good atmosphere. On the pricier side but in line with the newer coffee shops in Orange County.

Roosevelt Coffee is a great place to come if you want to get some work or studying done! I really like the modern interior and how open the place is. There is a parking lot so parking is never an issue. I've been here a couple of times so I've had a variety of drinks and pastries here. I really like the pastries! My go-to would have to be the almond croissant. In terms of drinks, I've had the iced mocha latte, iced vanilla latte and the black sesame latte. The drinks are on the pricier side. As someone who really enjoys strong coffee, I feel like their lattes don't have a very strong coffee taste and is more on the sweeter side. Overall, love the ambience and service. Will definitely come here again for my work/study days!

place is in a busy filled business center. i came on a saturday and there wasnt really anywhere to sit. menu seemed pretty minimal. i order an iced latte. PROBLEM! they only have oat milk. not a huge deal but would like a variety. my drink came out very tasty and smooth. i appreciate the simple syrup in the condiments area. also a tap for water. all in all a cool lil spot. they have cute merch as well. :)

Cute corner shop with a nice vibe. There was barely anywhere to sit when we went because individuals would take up 2-3 person tables, but we ended up finding something. It seems like they use Ghost Town Oats for their oat milk, which separates pretty quickly and detracts from the flavor of their espresso, so be prepared for that. I do like that they had some unique menu items that I might go back to try. They only had a couple pastries left, and, while different in vendor from most shops, the bagel we had was forgettable. The sesame latte was really good too!

We were driving through the area and wanted some coffee and found Roosevelt Coffee on Yelp. It's located in a business area, but it was surprisingly full on a Saturday morning. Plenty of seating inside and out. Our kids liked the various board games you could play. We got a sesame latte, vanilla latte, vanilla steamer, hot cocoa/ mocha and almond croissant. Great customer service in explaining to me what the various sesame options were. I loved my sesame latte. The flavor was subtle and nutty. Everything was tasty and the custard in the almond croissant was amazing. The price point is a little higher than a chain coffee place, $7.50 latte... but since we were on vacation we splurged a bit.

I really don't write negative reviews, and that's bcuz I understand how hard it is for small businesses to get their names out etc. but after 3 failed experiences, this review is long overdue. Let me lead by saying, vibes are immaculate. 10/10 But that's about where it ends. I need this coffee shop to help me understand how, especially being in Orange County, are you not going to have milk substitutions? No almond milk. No half and half subs in their coffee. Like what?! And then, it just gets worse. Do you have stevia? No. What in the actual... how are y'all in business? Dry responses, happened once. I looked past it and tried them again. Same dry responses. "No, we can't do substitution." You mean, u can't simply swap out what milk to use... we live in the most health conscious city and state in the US. Took my friend here for the 3rd time and quickly remembered why I didn't want to give them my service. Their service sucks and same problems. Problems that are completely avoidable btw. You can go to a frikkin Walmart and buy a large box of Stevia, ffs. There is absolutely no excuse not to have a sugar alternative. None. Their alternative was blue agave. On that 3rd visit, I got an Americano. Took one sip, disgusting. Asked them for heavy cream on the side or half and half-- cuz you know, they never have anything else. Tried to add to make it better, still awful. I start driving away and my gf who drinks coffee black, takes a sip and she said this is the worst coffee she's ever tasted. I legit turned back around, drove the 5 mins back and returned them. I have never returned coffee but at this point, given the back to back terrible experience, terrible customer service and then to top it off, terrible basic coffee -- no. If I could give this place 0 stars, it's still a star too many. But it gets a 1 because again, vibes.

follow our instagram for more reviews! @coffeehonglics - - - 6/10 Draft kombucha (pricey it was like $7) wish it was filled up all the way very fermented which i kinda liked 7/10 Peach spritzer ($4 before tax) It's a peach flavored drink with Topo Chico sparkling mineral water light flavor and wished it was stronger but overall not a bad drink. Overall - 7.5/10 We love the vibe of this place. It's very open, and there's a lot of windows and a decent amount of seats. There aren't a lot of outlets, so make sure to charge your stuff if you're coming to study. There is a lot of parking, which is really nice. The drinks we got weren't too bad but would definitely try their coffee next time. Overall, very clean environment, workers are nice and in a quiet area (depending on the day and time you're there, i think there's a church or daycare nearby not too sure, but there's definitely children) but we would go here again! p.s. keep in touch with their instagram! sometimes they host little vendors on the second floor of the coffee shop! the holiday vendor fair was super cute and had very yummy stands

Let's focus on coffee; not so great. First time I went I ordered a flat white and it tasted like steam milk. Where was my espresso? Kindly asked the barista to remake my order and was very friendly to remake it. Tasted better. Most recent visit they were out of almond milk and suggested Whole milk. NO. Opted for an Americano that was barely warm. Zero pastries on display. Place is always busy and difficult to find a seat with seat hoarders on their laptops for hours. OVERALL meh. Friendly and welcoming staff. Plenty of parking. Clean place.

Amazing coffee. Ambience was adorable. Couldn't have a better combo between quaint coffee shop and bustling business district. Staff helped me pick out something based in my tastes - ended up w spiced orange latte. Was so good I forgot to take a pic before I started drinking

Great coffee shop, lots of people studying here which makes the vibe feel really laid back. I had an oat milk flat white which was great. Didn’t try the food but the croissants looked amazing.
