Food is excellent as always - service is ok and pretty attentive. I do want to put a warning here that the restaurant allowed a dog (handheld/not leashed) to sit at an indoor table. This is likely against California law, and there’s actually an outside area for that. I love dogs but this isn’t the most food-safe practice and I have allergies…
This is an authentic Japanese restaurant! The food is excellent! The dishes are smaller, like izakaya size, so you will want to order a few dishes. The service was great once we were seated.
My ONLY reason of not giving the 5stars, is bc there is no convenient place to wait. There is plenty of seating outside, but it's a little cold (sorry I'm a CA weather weenie lol) during the winter to have to wait outside for 45min to get a seat.
