Food is amazing. Peking duck is immaculate here. I came here strictly for Peking duck. They cut it up for you in generous pieces and separate the bones (still has meat and also given to you).Needs more staff though, the employees on shift are working too hard to make up for lack of employees. Poor lady working in the kitchen had to come out to take our order and then go back in to prepare it. There were only 2 - 3 people working in the dining room
The food is awesome, came in on a Sunday at 2pm told kitchen closes at 2:45 restaurant closes at 3pm. We were being rushed into ordering. We ended up finishing & leaving ariund 3:05 to 3:10pm. The only reason why i scored SAM WOO 4 out of 5 is the fact they were rushing us in hopes to get us out at 3pm! The food however is THE BEST!!!
Sam Woo is the best all around chinese restaurant in Irvine. They have a great balance of westernized and traditional chinese dishes that is sure to please any guest. The food quality is always exceptional and they have a friendly and very hard working staff to take care of you. This place is pretty popular and can get crowded, especially on the weekends. It's not uncommon to see a line wrapping out and around the entrance so best to plan ahead for your visit here.
