Shake Shack Irvine Spectrum

I like Spectrum, but their Haagan Dazs store is AWFUL! If I could give ZERO stars...I would!! We walked in as a family of 4 and normally LOVE Haagan Daz. There is sadly not one by us so we drove the 40min to get here. My sons gf ordered a single scoop on a cone- no issue. My son ordered a midnight cookie dough shake and Vanessa (employee) ROLLED HER EYES and said "fine" under her breath. Then they ignored us. Didn't take mine or my husband's order. Finally, the 2nd employee with NO NAME TAG, took my husband's order and mine. He ordered his usual, a banana split. She handed him a cup 1/2 filled with chocolate syrup and barely any ice cream. It was gross (he later felt pretty ill). I ordered a coffee chip shake. Mine took what seemed like an eternity. When I finally got it, it was half milk. I took a sip and it was disgusting. I said, I'm sorry but this is almost all milk and no flavor. She said "yeah...hence the name MILK shake and rolled her eyes". I let her know my mom owned an ice cream shop and I'm pretty well versed in milkshakes. I then asked for a refund for my shake. She said I could. When we got to the register she laughs and says...oh yeah, we don't know how to give refunds, sorry. I asked for a gift card. She said she couldn't do that. I asked for the managers name and was told they can't give that out. I asked for corporate number and was told once again told they can't give that out, but I could Google it!!!!!!! I was LIVIDand out the $10 for three milkshake. I sat it on the counter and left as the 2 female employees laughed. Ridiculous! I will never go back. None of us will.

Amazing service and food, love how friendly the staff are and specially Jose the manager. Always helpful and giving me a great experience which makes me come back again and again

Excellent

A little noisy inside so you might want to eat outside.

Mushroom burger was great.
Table delivery was great and helpful.

Not really a fan of the Order By Tablet process.

Parking: Parking structure: just because you see a green light doesn't always mean that there's an open spot... better to go up where there's more open spaces

I liked the food but my shake had this inside. Plastic or not, not chewable. I came across more than one. What is this

Food was perfect nothing wrong with my roadside burger or chicken shack. But the guy who was cleaning out outside didn’t let enjoy my food.
He was sweeping outside area and went to a table where people who are eating and started moving their chairs and sweeping under their feet.
Then he came to my table and started moving around chairs next to me and my wife. He then went around all sides and tried to get the spots he couldn’t. He was so close he even moved my wife’s chairs like dude we’re eating?!
He came around second time behind my back to sweep under my feet i stopped and looked at him like what are you doing but he was in his own world. I had to say can you clean under their table after I’m done eating? He was like “I’ll be long gone then bro”

I don’t have to explain basic common sense to a chain restaurant employee or whoever will read this, but I have allergy to dust and I was 2 sweeps away from starting to sneeze until my nostrils bleed.

8 dollars for a single pattie smaller than my palm.

Just go to In & Out. You can get double double for 6 bucks and get twice as much beef and a similar burger experience.

I *like* shake shack but this asking price is ludicrous.

The burgers here are overcooked, which leaves the meat flavorless. It's hard to even taste the meat. They should start cooking burgers medium or at least give the option.

Awful experience! Truffle burger was full of grease and nothing like pic. Bun was a soggy mess $13 for a double... wtf?? One and done for me visiting this place. All hype! Not really a fast food guy but Carl's Jr has better burger for cheaper!

Great service, fresh food, just great

Edible but nothing like advertised. The burgers were super small and it was as if they smashed them before giving it to the customer. There was also a hair in my burger. It was an order for pick up and i check marked the option for ketchup and napkins but they didn’t add it. Had to get it myself. Definitely wasn’t worth its price. Fries were decent but nothing special.

I like how the employees were very attentive &’ made sure that we never missed anything. They ame to our table multiple times offering a refill to ensure our visit was delightful. One of the employees, Emily, helped clear our table and was able to ensure we were satisfied with our first visit to shake shack. I’m pleased to say that I received better customer service than Disneyland.

Vegetarian options: The veggie burger is so delicious you can barely tell it’s not real meat!
