I can honestly say that I've never had a bad bowl of Ramen at Silverlake. As far as chains go, they're probably at the top of my list. Their topping choices align very well with my personal preference too. Spinach, egg, bean sprouts, corn, nori... All very well priced too.
Our server David on 12/8 was very attentive. He's the type of guy I would marry if I rolled the other way. Great experience all around.

For what the place is, I give it 5 stars. They seated us immediately, gave us the booth we recommended, and the truffle ramen knocked our socks off! The sushi and bao buns were also way above average. Well done.

Worst ramen we ever had and service was terrible. Server forgot our drinks and they also forgot our add-ons and was charge for it. So better check your bill prior to paying. Appetizers were subpar. Skip this place, not worth waiting an hour or so.

I guess I'll never know what the food tastes like, all I can say is I waited in line for 20 mins, all the people before me got on the wait-list, when it came to my turn they closed the wait-list and said "sorry". I was the last person in line with my daughter but they couldn't accommodate 2 more people. Well, I don't want to eat here anymore! Crossed off the list.

1 star goes to the hostess girl who worked 10/20 around 2 p.m. I came to pick up my online order and told her my name, she looked at it and said the order was not ready yet and I needed to wait 2 minutes. Ok. 10 minutes passed and I asked her if my order was ready? She said no. I see a ready-packed bag in the distance at the bar, I ask her if the bag that is there is mine? She again says no. I go to the bar on my own and see that my name is written on the bag. It was just standing there all this time ready.
I ask the restaurant management to find out from this girl why she didn’t even want to go check whether this was my order or not. Despite the fact that she was free the whole time.
I also asked the restaurant workers who was responsible for issuing online orders, they couldn’t explain it to me clearly and the hostess girl said that it was definitely not her fault and generally turned around and left.

Review for visit on October 9, 2024
My coworkers and I work across the street and frequently visit Silverlake as it's one of our favorite spots. The ramen is pretty decent (not my favorite meat but broth is super good) and we love their curry bowl. However, this experience left us with a bad taste in our mouth. 3 of us ordered the Blaze ramen bowl, and unfortunately after eating about half of my bowl I noticed one of the things stuck to the side of my bowl wasn't a piece of chili like I initially thought. I poked it around and saw very clearly that it was a bug, I'm not sure if it's a baby cockroach or what type but absolutely disgusting either way!
Our female server was not available so we called the male server/host over and explained the situation and all he said was "oh." And grabbed the bowl to take away. He did ask if I wanted another bowl but I had zero appetite for another bowl with broth that's been cooked with this bug. My coworkers who ordered the same thing were also grossed out because it's likely they had the broth used from this same batch where the bug came from.
When our female server gave us the check, we noticed she did not remove my bowl. I called her over and politely asked if the guy had told her there was a bug in my bowl, assuming she probably didn't know and that's why it wasn't removed. She just said "yeah but did you want another bowl?" And I said "no I don't" and stared at her confused. If she knew about it and knew I didn't get a replacement, why was it still on the bill? So she went to remove it thankfully but very odd that I had to ask.
We were all extremely upset with how this was handled. We acknowledge that it's impossible to avoid bugs in food 100% at restaurants, but they provided zero customer service for that type of situation. I have unfortunately had it happen to me elsewhere and the server was extremely apologetic and immediately took it off the bill without me having to ask. We would have expected similar customer service here but I got ZERO apology from the initial guy who took away my bowl or from the female server.
For that alone, we will no longer be returning. My coworker put the whole bill on his card and did not tip due to this situation and how our server handled it. I hope management sees this and trains their employees on how to better handle these situations. To not even get an apology for the situation is completely rude.

Came in 10/3/24 for lunch with a friend and my dog. We were greeted by our server, Mike, who was by far, just a truly good, nice person. The first thing Mike does is sit us down on the patio, and he brings a bowl of water to my doggie. This was my first time for my visit, so Mike walked me through his favorites and suggestions, guiding me along the way.
I was craving the chicken bowl, which i settled with, but Mile offered to do side orders of Noodles and broth so I could get the best of both worlds. They were able to cook chicken for my fur monster without seasoning that she liked soo much, I had to do 2nd order for her. This was all done for under $20. That's unheard of now and days. Mike was awesome from beginning to end, shaking our hands and wishing us a great day.
I also have to give a big thank you for the kindness this other server showed my dog. Without knowing her name, I'll call her Angel cause she was so kind and nice to all of us.
Both you deserve big praise, job done to perfection and much appreciation to the kindness you showed my dog when you didn't have to. LOVED THE CHICKEN BOWL BTW!! That combo sauce is delicious!

Ambiance is fun, great vibes, trendy and the service is great. The food was delicious and will definitely come back for more! Would recommend the classic ramen with pork, the crispy rice, and the bowl!

Fast service. I ordered at the front and it only took about 5 minutes to complete my order. I had the classic ramen noodles with tofu for protein. Included a creamy, white broth with seaweed, bean sprouts, spinach, onions and an egg. It was very tasty but needed a bit of a kick. I will probably order the spicier ramen on my next visit. Also appreciated the durable to-go bag as I was traveling far and it was nice not to have spillage in the car.

It was quite empty and other people were let through easily, but we were the only ones who couldn't get through, so we had to wait for 20 minutes.
It's a shame because I heard it was delicious.
I ate at another restaurant.

Great place for ramen. Came here with a friend with a gluten intolerance and our server Chris was so helpful and accommodating. Food came really quick.
