I order from this place often because it’s convenient location, many times during their peak rush so I am typically quite forgiving.
It really makes me feel like a jackass for two reasons:
First I use the app to order for convenience, so I don’t have to wait there forever, typically a half hour in advance advance. Fairly often when I get there, someone has taken a part of my order. I end up having to wait for them to re-cook/re-make it which undoes any convenience the app provides.
Second, because I’m actually paying for my food when I could just show up and take someone else’s and no one would say a word. There’s like 12 employees in the place and six just standing there doing nothing. At least one person can make sure there’s no one cherrypicking the orders….

Mistyped my name because apparently he didnt liked tge tip🤦♂️🤡
New manager just took over and the entire atmosphere has changed. Almost a dozen employees have quit because of this change. This should tell the district manager a thing or two about her. I realize that the store has a lot of employees that go to the university, however, this Check and employees all quitting at the same time is definitely because of the new manager. She’s like a robot - called and callous and extremely unfriendly to the customers and employees. I surely won’t be back and I was a regular for many years,

I am sadly editing my past review which was a 5-star rating. I am a long time customer and have always enjoyed this location. Unfortunately the manager is driving all of the employees away with her terrible attitude that she not by directs towards the employees, but to customers as well. Yes, this store has always had a larger than normal turnover being that most employees are UCI students and once they graduate they move on. However, since the new manager has taken over almost all of the employees have quit. What a shame this store is ruined by the inadequacy of one individual who thinks she’s a drill Sargent. The numbers should prove the downfall as it definitely speaks volumes when visiting the store.

Love getting my Mocha ( decaf/oatmilk) and my Double-Smoked bacon, cheddar & egg sandwich. Very convenient location on my way to work so its my oblugated stop whenever I dont have time to cook breakfast (which is very usual LOL). They variety on flavors and milk options is why I love starbucks.

First of all, this drink took long time, so i waited near the pick up area and watched the barista making the drink. For venti oak milk latte, he add hot water instead of oat milk. Starbucks use hot water to size up from Grande to Venti on lstte??
After he poured the steamed milk into the cup, he made a facial and a body expression that looked like he totally made a mistake. He waited and left the drink alone and proceeded with making three other drinks that were not my order. After the last order, he called my name and gave me the drink that was sitting there for a while. WHY???
I did not like the fact that my latte has hot water in it. It was not acceptable.
Well, the cafeteria has little space inside. It continues the same.

UCI is close by so many student's come and study seating is minimal, There's a balcony, small porch with tables and chairs.
Full Starbucks menu but no drive-through. You can use the app to order ahead. Go to the mobile pickup area or ask Barista for your orders status!

I came in to order just now. I was the final person in line of 3 people, and after serving the 2 people in front of me, the cashier/barista told me to wait. She then proceeded to disregard me for about 5 minutes prioritizing filling out mobile orders. Processing my order would have taken about 30 seconds, and in that time, she filled out about 2 mobile orders without acknowledging me further. Complete and utter disrespect. Needless to say, I left without ordering. As obviously customers are not wanted there.
