Starbucks Coffee Company is located within The Village at Spectrum complex in Irvine, in front of the leasing office. It is centrally located and very convenient with prime access. The atmosphere is especially nice in the evening and the ambiance is great. There are quite a few spaces outside where you can sit comfortably and chat. The coffee tasted good and the latte was good too. You can also get a glass of water for free.
Reviews of the staff are mixed. Many find them very pleasant, welcoming, and thoughtful, with good attitudes and upbeat qualities. They are described as going out of their way to help, such as resolving issues with app orders like a 50% off promotion. However, some feel many workers seem almost passive aggressive and can be slow. Service issues like missing spoons for items like oatmeal with no proper alternatives are noted.
A common criticism is that the music is always too loud, feeling like a club, and staff have stated the volume is not adjustable. The main challenge for access is parking, as it relies mainly on apartment parking. Despite this, many find it a good Starbucks that is still worth figuring things out to visit.
