The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is because of the smell. It smells like baked azz. The Rosa bowl is the best dish. The carne asada is good, the chicken and cheese enchilada are good especially when you substitite the red or green sauce with the lime white sauce (same sauce they put on the lobster enchilada). The horchata is tasty.
I've dined at Taco Rosa a few times, and it's always been a good time. The atmosphere is great, and the food and drinks are tasty. Self-described as "Contemporary Mexico City cuisine." Taco Rosa offers some delicious variations of familiar Mexican fare.

Wanting to relax and have a well-prepared lunch we chose Taco Rosa Mexican Cuisine at the Market Place (the shopping center that I call the purple flags) in Irvine CA. Since they had just opened we had the place to ourselves and within a few minutes several groups arrived making it a lovely and happy experience. Our food was delicious and beautifully presented. And around us that same joy and oooh haaa was heard so I guess everyone was pleased with their food selections too..
