I've had lunch here 3 times and a bit disappointed each time. Both their pork chop rice and pork belly rice aren't very good, meat were chewy, although the side dishes and veggies that came with were good. Their fried chicken skin were bad, the two times I tried it. Their milk tea were very basic and watery, although the boba was ok. Not coming back for sure.

Sad to say this place has gone downhill. The only thing that's gone up are the prices lolol. Popcorn chicken no longer comes with a complimentary sauce which was the final straw for me, not to sound dramatic. I thought the combo box would warrant a free sauce at least! And let's be real, their nearly $7 price tag for just their popcorn chicken should come with a free sauce... that's pretty pricey for a snack. I must compare them with Cha for Tea, who gives a free sauce with their popcorn chicken combo at least. What sealed the deal for me to never come back is tonight's cashier. Came up to talk to me with a MOUTHFUL of food. We interacted for maybe 90 seconds, and she answered multiple questions I had... all while chewing. I could barely understand her LOL who does that????

Service was not very good as the chef or the cashier did not want to go a small extra option as other restaurants would. The deep fried oil seems old even I visited during early lunch time hours. Would not return again!

Stopped by Taiwan Popcorn Chicken in Irvine for a quick lunch and yikes what a disappointment. There is zero human contact and the food was legit burning hot in some spots and frozen in others. It was kinda surreal having burning hot noodles and frozen meat all in one bowl. Can't even mix in the peanut sauce as it's congealed No need to say moreZero service. You place your order and wait for your number to appear and you go pick up your meal.Clean restaurant with plenty of parking.

If I could give a zero star I definitely would. First time ordering in this place since I would pass by this place a lot whenever I go to work. Bought their popcorn chicken to give it a try but so dissapointment when it only has tiny bit of seasoning. Way too overpriced and no flavor at all even a taste of salt. A $32 worth of chicken for this much is never worth it. Also the fact that is not cooked well. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. NEVER AGAIN!!

Ordering is very easy and the food is amazing! The touchscreen is user-friendly and traveling through the menu is a breeze. So many options...we chose popcorn chicken - you can adjust the spiciness- and fried mushrooms, with a green tea, for less than $20. The chicken was juicy and perfectly spiced and did not need a sauce or any add-ons for taste. The mushrooms were spectacular and exactly what we were looking for! Big savory taste, not too salty. Their green tea was so flavorful, with blooms of floral explosions over cold ice. I can't wait to come back and try the calamari and different types of fried mushrooms and chicken!
The food was spoiled. I ordered popcorn chicken and chicken heart. Upon bringing them to my car, I detected an off scent. By the fourth piece of popcorn chicken, I found a large spoiled piece. Coupled with unsanitary kitchen conditions, I advise against visiting this place.

This is our first time coming here and find the food actually really good and the price was reasonable, we had the original popcorn chicken for my daughter and she took the spicy ones and we had the cartilage and man it was really good and also the fried mushroom is also yummy as my daughter will say it. The pop corn chicken that my daughter took was a little too spicy for me , but the rest being medium and mild was great. The kiosk to order the was nice but I like to talk to a real person so they can explain more on the item, but swing your name coming up to be serve next was a good touch, instead of just waiting for your name to be called. But putting the food on the counter is annoying for me because I am still use to getting called that my order is ready, good thing my daughter work next door and she been here before so she knows the process, you know being old. The restaurant vibe is a little outdated and mostly to go order the restaurant is just ok nothing really to say much about it.

I really wanted to like this place. I love popcorn chicken, fried chicken skin and gizzards. I’ve read the reviews and decided to give them a chance.I hate to write negative reviews but I hope management will do something about it.The place was very dirty. The tables were gross and sticky. We got there around noon and there wasn’t any customers at the time. I went with my son and every time he drops a toy, I cringe because the ground was dirty and he’d pick up some hairs along with the toys.He didn’t want to finish his food and frankly, neither did I. It felt like they were fried in old oil.
