We are a small business and we serviced Taps Fish House back in year 2020. They never ever paid us! We even hired debt collection agency to help on this invoice but still no luck! I just want to post it here to let everyone know this business owner and the team who works there are dishonest. It's a shame to do business like this. No wonder your location is closed.

Went in last night to pierce my TAPS Fish House & Brewery did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. She was fast and I literally felt no pain can't wait to go back for more.

I have been wanting to come here for ages and glad I finally did. I used to trek it out to Santa Monica Seafood Market when I really wanted to create a seafood feast at home, but this may be my go to spot in the valley.

This is a Covid-19 review of take out. We have lost so many restaurants and for us nice places were Brio (gone), Orange Hill, and Taps (closed until Dec.31.2020), so I am concerned that we are about to lose the best of the three. Our last takeout was sea bass and was excellent. Actually, maybe it is the lack of eating out that made it taste just perfect. Those restaurants that survive should have an amazing rebound with reduced competition, but how can they survive?

Food was terrible and lacking flavor. The Panda Express nearby puts them to shame in regards to taste and value. They didn't even bother to remove the inedible stems from the green beans.Unprofessional service. I had to go back after discovering they messed up my order. They did not even acknowledge their mistake or offer a simple apology for the inconvenience caused. If I would have known the food was going to taste this poorly, I would have asked them to refund my $40 instead of returning back for the rest of my order.

This place is always nice to visit. I went twice since the pandemic and they are doing a great job keeping the customers safe by allowing limited capacity. They also have fewer servers so it's a bit slower than usual but they are still very professional and good. Food is great! They are obviously famous for their seafood so I personally recommend you getting their sizzling japanese hamachi as a starter as well as the grilled octopus and meatballs too! I tried most of their starters and it's delicious! And the oysters are very very fresh. As far as the main course, the seabass will melt in your mouth.

5/5: Beer flights are an excellent idea. We got 2 flights (8 tastings). One was $12 for four; another was $10; it depends on what beers you select. My favorites are: Empetus Barrel Stout, Coffee Cream Nitro, and Cali Sun. 5/5: Oysters are ocean fresh. Each order comes with 4 small oysters. Next time, I will get four orders all to myself. 5/5: Chowder fries: soup sauce was excellent. I would come back for a cup of soup instead and I am not even a usual fan of chowder. 4/5: Fish & Chips: The fish was fresh, clean, and succulent. The batter was oily. Good thing I was able to just peel if off and throw it out. It comes with lots of skinny shoe string chips. Don't order more. 3/5: Tri-tip Sliders: I tasted horseradish and that was about it. The meat was tender but without seasoning. This dish comes with fries, we didn't know, we had so much fries on the table. 1/5: Brewmaster pretzel & fondue $7: their fondue arrived cold and congealed. They were nice enough to get us a new fondue, it tasted OK; but the pretzel was over-salty and rock solid (think store bought crunchy pretzel feel). I felt bad being fussy over this dish. Between the two of us, we couldn't even finish half. I hate having to waste food. Parking is easy. Ample social distance patio seating. Attentive and friendly service. Excellent choice for happy hour! We sat until sunset and they lit candles for us. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

Thank you so much! I'm unable to cook this year. My husband worked all week. My family isn't meeting because of Covid... and yet you not only got our order right, but only took 4 mins to get us the order (that's pretty crazy fast). Taps, you saved Thanksgiving! The food was great, the flowers and gift card were above and beyond... there is NO WAY we could have made the meal you did and the price was cheaper than if we attempted. Not only did we get the Thanksgiving meal, my parents picked theirs up separately and apparently also loved it! You've seriously saved our holiday and allowed us to really enjoy it without stress. Forever patrons! Happy Thanksgiving! Excellent work! Grateful for your service.

Taps is a great breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant. The bar is great for Clemson college football games. When brunch comes back....dont miss it

I had never been but decided to go eat with my boyfriend after a Target run. Was seated right away, everyone was friendly, service was good, nice atmosphere. Food was awful- Fresh lemonade was sooo sour. Whoever is making that does not drink lemonade. Ever. Clam chowder cups were faintly warm, colder than luke warm. I like my soup served hot, thank you. Fish and chips *which is supposed to be their signature dish* is extremely greasy and the fries are definitely just frozen fries they warm up in an oven. The crazy part is I think they KNOW how greasy their fish and chips are because they literally put a cloth napkin under them, assuming they do this to soak up all of that grease. Tartar sauce had no flavor to it. I've had better fish and chips at a dive bar in Long Beach. Yikes. Sashimi was too thick and did not taste very fresh. Do better Taps. Wasn't expecting the experience of my life but was expecting at the very least an average one.

The filet trio is terrific. The outside dining is really nice here. Our family enjoyed the food. The Chilean sea bass and king crab legs were a big hit too. Service was good.

Was looking forward to a wedge salad today. What a presentation!! Old lettuce, one baby tomato cut in half, sprinkle of blue cheese and bacon. How can you send this out for delivery?

Absolutely awful! My friends and I got seated at 7:15pm and barely got drinks around 7:40pm. Then the server walks away and doesn't even take our food order. Finally comes back around 7:55pm to take our food order. Comes back shortly to tell us they are out of the Lobster Rolls. It's now 8:19pm, a whole HOUR after we've been seated and all I've gotten barely served to me are two drinks that are $13+ a piece. Train your employees better about SERVICE and tell them to wear their mask properly over their nose. I used to love this place when it opened but will not be coming back...probably ever which is too bad since the drinks are delicious here, but the service has been bad many times when I've dined here. It's now 8:41pm (almost an hour and a half since seated) and barely got my food. ‍
