Authentic chinese food. They do charge for plain rice so I recommend getting fried rice.

Food is good.
Price is ok.
Sitting is tight.
Service could be better, I always feel pressured to leave a tip whenever I go there.

Cute space, and service is good. Food portions are GREAT for the price but the flavors are fine honestly. I personally felt like everything was too greasy but I still enjoyed the meal. I got the mixed vegetable chow mein, green onion pancakes, and pork dumplings.

There are many idiots rating this place low for no reason. The foods were all very flavorful and delicious. The waitresses were all very friendly and kind. We ordered the braised pork belly with the preserved vegetables, eggplant and beef, as well as the Kung Pao chicken. I recommend every one of them, they were all great.

The noodles here are good, but the attitude of the waiters is so bad!

Overall good Shanghainese restaurant. Portions are quite big and well worth the price - dishes are yummy but not exceptional.
First, for the Shanghai grilled pork buns (sheng jian bao), it is written on the menu that there are 6, but they actually serve 8. They are good, but not exceptional. Solid among of juice and flavor, but kind of doughy. Still recommend though.
Next, for the Shanghai grilled beef bun, they are also quite good.
The braised noodles with onion sauce is delicious, but it definitely is quite greasy - you can’t taste the grease, but it is quite visible on your plate afterwards. Sauce is delicious though, full of onion flavor and not too salty. Still recommend trying though.

Have been a frequent visitor to this restaurant. Food is always good and all the staffs and aunties are super friendly.
However, the owner of this restaurant does not allow their staffs to turn on the AC during the heat wave (around 102F degree weather for the whole weekend fyi). Not only are the customers sweating excessively (the aunties are super sweet and offered us takeout box lids to use as handheld paper fans to cool down) under the unnecessary indoor heat conditions, the staffs also have to work under the absurd heat, which would be a potential health hazard. I feel sorry for them.

I just had the Kung pao noodle soup. It was so unexpectedly delicious. I love things a little sweet. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, spiciest, vegetables and a fabulous broth. The staff are so friendly, they even offered to add broth so I could take home the remaining of my noodles. I love this place. I’m going to bring, my son here for sure. He loves Asian noodles!
