Tea Maru - Housemade Boba

Love it, the quality, price and she was so quick.

Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I just encountered the sweetest lady who let me try my drink before she sealed it because I was concerned about it being too sweet. I got a mango jasmine tea with 0 sugar and she waited for me to taste it before adding more sugar. What a gem! The tea was also very yummy, with fresh mango purée. I would return for sure.

Taste of matcha is just ok. Attitude of the staff could use improvement. The bathroom says has sign saying employees only. 60 year old lady asked if she could use it and was told “if you dont make a mess”. Basically, everything sbout this place was one star less than a nice experience.

Stole money from me and they won’t give it back,also they took way too long for my drink,too expensive and tried scamming me and my family

It's a cute shop, my drink didn't have as much flavor as I expected, also, I kind of wish they had seating, we had to wait a while for our drinks. The employees were very nice!

I decided to try this place out. I got a strawberry matcha and it was as tasty. I ordered my drink on the kiosk and got my drink quickly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered online, tried to pick it up and the worker said he didn't have the order. Worker was super rude. Not the first time I've seen poor customer service here. Won't be back.

Do not come here for boba. I ordered the strawberry blast and it tasted like super bitter perfume. It tasted nothing like strawberry. I asked for a refund and the employee looked at me super confused and told me she had to text her manager. What kind of manager isn't at their store? She refused to refund me so i asked her to sweeten it more. She didnt even apologize or offer to remake the drink. I saw her add the tiniest amount of honey and give it to me. I expected sugar. The honey did nothing and it still tasted super bitter. I had to go to the gas station nearby and put lots of raspberry syrup for it to taste at least consumable. Worst experience ever!!!!

Really liked this place a few years back, but it seems like the quality has gone down significantly. I got the maru milk, which I’ve gotten before, and was extremely disappointed. I went 7pm on a Friday night and they already ran out of the brown sugar boba and there was not a lot of cheese foam in the drink either. It felt like I was drinking milk.

No taste at all.

It tastes bad and has a lot of ice, and the boba is impossible to drink because the straw is too small and constantly gets stuck, a disgusting experience

I got the uji matcha latte and the matcha tasted bitter which is unfortunate. The strawberry boba was also inedible as it had a distinct fridge taste. Total waste of money.

The manager at this place or owner has a great policy to lose customers with children. I bought here regularly yet they're not willing to sell the toppings which are on their menu for $0.65 for my toddlers who can't drink a tea but like a fifth of a cup of fruit and It's such a dumb way to lose a repeat customer just because they don't want to put some of their fruit in a cup without the tea. I don't recommend this place at all. It constantly has new staff showing management can't retain anyone either.
