Love this place. I went there on Friday with my husband. Luckily since we got there early, there's no line yet. The meats were served very fast and the salad bar was good too. Also the service guy. Definitely will go again.

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Fogo de Chao before going here and the price point was what stopped me from trying it. When I found an online ad about the FOGO $44, I was intrigued to finally try it. My boyfriend and I went to the location in Irvine and discovered they did this special at $49. When we walked in the hostesses didn't pay any attention to us and were talking with their backs turned to us. The ambiance is very nice, a dark environment with many seats close to each other. Our server Jake wasn't the most attentive to us as he kept skipping our table. The salad bar had extensive options and I really loved it! The meats came by our table very fast towards the beginning but slowed down after we had been sitting there for a while. Make sure to grab the freshly cut meat with tongs bc we weren't given any. It was a pretty nice experience with high quality meats, but I'm not sure we would come back at regular price. The desserts were full sized, although they ran out of 2 of the options when we ordered. Our waiter did allow us to choose one from the menu and comp it which was nice. I think we received the short end of the stick when it comes to service because we are younger. Not the best. Great experience for first timers though!

This was an awful experience. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time only to be told to wait 45 minutes because they were too busy. Clearly unable to manage their personnel with their volume.

We love this restaurant! Salad bar is fresh & clean! The meat are perfectly grilled & tender! The service is excellent with our waitress Emely! The dinning area is cozy & welcoming! We are so stuffed & enjoyed every moment of the dining experience! Strongly recommended good restaurant for all you can eat Brazilian BBQ! Yum!

Let me start with I am a usual diner here at the restaurant and typically bring my friends and family when the vip cards come out for special occasions, birthdays, celebrations, etc. Out of all my times here this was the only one where it finally pushed me to write this review. First it started with I made a reservation for a group of 7 for 7:30 on the open table app and then ended up getting a call about how it came through on their end as a reservation for 9pm. (I get it it’s technology and stuff happens) restaurant took care of me over the phone and correct the time and even helped me when I had to call in to add one more person and I am grateful for that. However, upon arrival we show up at our reservation time and we are told our reservation was made too late in the day and we are basically the same as a walk up so we need to wait for a table to seat us and it will be some time. Again no problem, little annoyed that a reservation is being treated as walk up but I get it they are busy. We are finally taken inside and sat on the outside patio as the only group other than a table of 2 who shortly left after our arrival. We are greater with the usual hello from waiter and asks us how we would like our meats preferred and we are a group who likes medium rare to medium. Very first round we are brought spicy sirloin that looks good on outside but let me tell you this thing was so rare that the knives couldn’t even cut through. I get some people like rare cuts and I’m not judging, but man that meat was barely just seared and brought out. More than half our table just pushed it to the side. Next round we have the queen of meats arrive the piccanha (top sirloin). Once again the outsides look great but man this thing was barely cooked more than the last round. One member of my group literally came just for this meat and wanted multiple pieces but after the first slice she was like Woa that is not cooked and just settled for the one as did the rest of us since again the outsides look good until they get sliced and grabbed for the plate. We asked the gentleman if he can bring us more of a medium rare by any chance and he gladly accepted and told us he is on it. He comes back after about 10-15 mins and had a couple of slices on the skewer that were just torched to above even well done. Our group accepted these cuts since we did request more of a cooked kind and we did eat them but man we were all on the same page when I say this thing was like saw dust and dry and was now far far beyond what we were expecting for medium rare to medium. The night was saved for the meats as we requested lamb chops for the table and man we were not disappointed there it was amazing and we took down 1.5 skewers in our group. It was however unfortunate that throughout our whole visit we were only presented 4 types of dishes. The spicy sirloin, top sirloin, garlic sirloin and lamb chops. I know this place has much much more variety, but we felt left out because of our seating outside. As then night came on it began to build outside and we requested the heaters to be turned up a bit more if possible and I don’t believe that request was ever acted upon. There was multiple times where we ran out of waters or drinks and it took quite some time to get some refilled. Which was also again very annoying and out of the usual for this place. At the very end we were told that the kitchen is closing and if we have requests to let them know at that time. We asked for the strip steak or skirt steak not exactly sure which my friend requested but that was never brought out after 10-15 someone showed up with a few pieces of once again super well done New York steak and told us the kitchen had closed. Why ask us for a request and show up with something else after telling us yes and making us wait expecting it. After a few of us got dessert they bring the bill and I present my VIP card to use for the group. Waiter looked a bit shocked when I presented it but took the numbers and processed it... full review doesn’t fit here will send rest to restaurant directly

Hello. We ate here yesterday reserv. At 4:15pm Few times we got meat that was rare. Service was good we let server know and she agreed with us that meat needed to be cooked more. All night and all day today my husband has been vomiting, sweating, etc and has food poisoning. I called restaurant spoke to manager of the restaurant(Diego) I let him know the situation and he told me that he hasn’t had any other calls, can’t do anything, to put a review. I said wow can I have your company’s number and he said we don’t have one talk to someone on the website. I said just bc someone else hasn’t called does not mean anything. I let him know I am a loyal customer and have gone few times and can’t believe the service he is giving me. A $180 dinner and a $38 dollar tip. And he can’t do anything about it? I asked him for restaurants number to put when I complain. He told me you don’t need to be rude wait while I look for it. I said hold on, I’m being rude bc you are sighing and giving me attitude. I PAY YOUR CHECK DIEGO! LMFAO You get what you get when you treat a loyal customer disrespectfully. Look at my reservation to confirm, be a real manager, and lastly thank the customers when they leave. Service means everything. I’d rather eat at a restaurant with great service, well prepared food, a manager who does his job and appreciates the customers. Goodbye Texas de Brazil. Oh and FYI I was a loyal customer that I traveled 40 miles just to go to your restaurant various numbers of times and get treated this way. PATHETIC, looks like the restaurant manager Diego needs training there

One of our go-to place every special occasion... I always request the prime rib, fall-out the bone, so tender juicy, melts in your mouth. For me, you can't go wrong. If you you like meat or steak just like I do, just buy that Texas de Brazil gift card worth $200 for $150 @ Costco. I hope this helps you. Enjoy!

Hostess at the front was absolutely disrespectful and rude to us. Unacceptable. Service was subpar, meat was over salted and the filet mignon was dry. Will never come back to this place. Save yourself an unpleasant experience and just go to Fogo de Chao.

We've been here many times before and even had my staff party here. The service and servers are top quality, friendly and welcoming. I've had other similar places in Irvine, but this place is SOOOOO much better.

Good food, and good service. The meats were slightly overcooked but probably today only. I visited a few weeks ago and all the meats were perfectly cooked. Everything’s still good and up to par IMO. Will go back for sure. Our server Lucas was good and took care of us!
