Good was delicious 😋. The oysters were amazingly good. We went during happy hour (Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm) and food was very cheap. Definitely will be back.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend the Chowder Frites — they’re perfectly crisp, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The seafood is incredibly fresh, the service was excellent, and the vibe is chic yet inviting. Definitely a new favorite spot! 🦪✨

Being at the spectrum is always a pleasure. The dive oyster was on the list to try out. Everyone there was so sweet and kind. The atmosphere on 10, nothing new about it.
I ordered SIGNATURE PAN ROAST. The taste was fair.

I was a little reluctant to visit due to a few minor negatives reviews but I am so glad I came. Danny provided such amazing service and help with the menu. The food was amazing and I like their twist on traditional. I will be back soon.

I have never complained about food served to me at a restaurant, but the dinner last night was so bad that I feel compelled to write a review. We ordered the steamboat oysters and jambalaya. The oysters appeared fresh, but had a very fishy flavor. The jambalaya was so peppery and spicy, that it was hard to consume. As someone who has lived in New Orleans, I can confirm that true jambalaya does not taste like this. Service and ambiance were good - our waiter was very attentive and brought up our issues to the chef and staff.
Given the price of the dishes and the quality of the meal, I would not recommend this restaurant and I would not eat here again.

This is one of the better restaurants at Irvine Spectrum. Definitely underrated. Got the fish and chips, oysters, and shrimp and grits. Food comes fast and hot! BOMB.

Pup-friendly restaurant w/ weekday HH deals! Between 3-6pm on M-F $2 oysters super fresh and delicious! Monday 50% draft beers and Wednesday 40% off wine bottles after 5pm. Parking is in the Irvine Spectrum parking lot, if you park near the theater, that's probably one of the shorter walks over.
We shared-
8 freshly shucked oysters ($16)
House Specialty Pan Roast ($22)
Chowder Frots ($15)
2 glasses of HH House Chardonnay ($7/ea).
Service was great the entire time and they also have TVs if you want to catch a game/sporting event. Will definitely be back again!

Not our first time at The Dive Oyster Bar, but our first time checking out their happy hour and it did not disappoint! Can’t beat the $2 oysters, the clam chowder was cozy and creamy, and we couldn’t resist the Hot Cheetos Truffle Mac & Cheese (wild, cheesy, and sooo good). Add in a chilled glass of white wine, perfection.
We also ventured off the happy hour menu for the Roasta Pasta and wow… easily one of our favorites here, was so rich and full of flavor!
The food was amazing as always, but what really stood out this time was the service. Our servers were super nice and attentive, making the whole experience extra enjoyable. We always leave happy, but happy hour just gave us another reason to keep coming back!

If you’re looking for something light and refreshing that won’t weigh you down then this is the spot! After shopping I wanted seafood but not too overwhelming, luckily I found this gem. I ordered their Peruvian Scallops, Mussel Fries and the Oysters that were highly recommended. Both the oysters and scallops were a delicious hit to my high end tastebuds as well as the mussels. The service was on point and as far as the recs go, I was satisfied with their suggestion. If this is your jam then don’t pass it up if you get the chance and check it!

Their Cajun Shrimp Pasta is pretty cheesy which I like and was my favorite dish I tried. For only $19, it's a good value item to get. I also really enjoyed their Chowder Bread Bowl. They give a sizable amount for only $15. The Lobster Roll is good too and you can upgrade it to Cajun Truffle Fries. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night so we got seated right away. Overall, food was good and I'd come back.

Been here many times before but never been to their happy hour which was from Mon to Fri I think it’s from 3 to 5 or 4 to 6. Not sure I remembered exactly. The happy hour menu was good. Their oyster only $2 each. Wine $8 and their fish and chip was pretty good portion. Their Cajun clams dish was good when dipping the bread in it. They have multiple locations but I went to the Irvine one .

Calamari was overpriced and not very good, but the oysters were nice. Hot cheeto mac was decent, if a lil bland. More cheeto than cheese flavor. But very filling! The Roasta was the best thing all night though — perfect in every way. Bit pricey, but generally worth it.
