Good food served with a smile. The locations are fine, and the two I've eaten at so far appeared pretty clean. The atmosphere is pretty basic, but it works both indoor and out.

Went for the first time with high hopes - right at opening. Bought a wrap and a plate which came to $40..(expensive for what was served). Slices of doner were paper thin.. and the wrap was mostly salad in the "super wrap".. Falafel were dense and threw them away after one bite.. Very disappointing meal for what was expected.. Will avoid any of their locations .. Went there expecting something like Sababa - or original turkish style doner but nothing close. If you do go here avoid the wrap or falafel .. the plate had a more generous meat serving but again still disappointing due to the paper thin meat cuts. One plus were the garlic, cilantro and chili sauces. Those were tasty. The meat had good flavor but thin and lacking in quantity.Advice to the owner - your marketing is great and why I was convinced to come all the way as opposed to going to my go to restaurant in OC - if you gave customers a better product - thicker slices with a nice crust on the meat and a decent meat serving you would have something.. but cutting corners on product and charging so much is not a winning strategy..Also falafel was terrible.. rework your recipe to have something lighter and not so dense.. Change a few things and you could be a 5 star doner place.

Just really did not enjoy this place. For vegetarians options are certainly limited but the meals we got just didn't look like there was much effort put into them. We got a few salads and had them with falafel. The salads were poorly chopped and had such few ingredients beyond lettuce. For example, mine had 3 pieces of olives for what was supposed to be a Greek salad. Not the best. We did a to-go order so I can't really speak to service and ambiance but it looked nice a warm, comfortable place. Unfortunately won't be back.

In the urban heartbeat of the city lies a culinary treasure, The Kabob Shop. Since my discovery in 2019, it's been a gastronomic pilgrimage to the flavors of the Mediterranean and Far East. Their shawarma wraps, a personal indulgence, transport one to ancient bazaars with every bite. The Kabob Shop's artistry is unmistakable, from the vibrant tomatoes to the rich hummus, each bite a testament to authenticity. Their menu also celebrates the vegan wanderer, with offerings steeped in tradition.Their beverage fountain tells tales of distant lands, with craft sodas and iced teas reminiscent of exotic adventures. Seeking more than just a meal? The Kabob Shop is a journey, a taste of history and culture on a plate.

I came here with hubs on a Saturday around 5:30p for a quick dinner. This is located in the Harvard Place Shopping Center at the corner of Harvard Avenue and Main Street. It is on the same side as Rubio's (on the Harvard and Coronado side).Being a weekend evening, the place was pretty quiet. It was only us and maybe another couple who were dining in at the time. We both ordered the plate ($14.25?) - I got the carved chicken with Greek salad and saffron rice, hubs got the grilled steak with chickpea salad and fire hummus (hummus came with charred pita). The portion was surprisingly plentiful. The Greek salad was in a small container with dressing, but it was stuffed. I also got plenty of rice and chicken (but then again, it does cost 14 bucks). The rice and chicken were tender and the chicken was flavorful, the rice not so much. I really liked the fire hummus. Although a bit fiery for me (not for hubs who is immune to spicy food), it was yummy! And it was in a small tub so plenty to go around...but sadly got only one pita (cut in 4 pieces). It would've been nice to have at least a pita and half.I love Mediterranean food in general, so definitely excited to find another place to go to!

Maybe I just have high standards for kebab but I was sorely disappointed by this place. I got a beef wrap that was absolutely massive, so if you like large portions you may like this place, but it definitely seems like they value quantity over quality. The meat was incredibly disappointing and colder than I expected. I guess they just weren't doing fresh meat the day I was there. The bread was okay, not as bad as the meat, just ok. Veggies were good, and the pickled onions were a much needed source of flavor. The sauce was lacking in flavor and I barely even noticed it was there. The inside of the restaurant looks like every other trendy fast casual restaurant in Irvine, bland and boring. Service was great, the workers definitely deserve a raise (especially if they need tips on a $14 kebab wrap).I'd give this place a higher rating if the wrap I got wasn't $14. Eating this wrap actually made me feel depressed afterwards.

Absolutely loved my Greek Salad! Donner Kebab was fine but not as good as I remember them in Hong Kong or at The Kebab Shop in Downtown San Diego. That was probably my favorite store. Oh, and I had one in Istanbul, too. Must admit, the dressing for the salad was superb!
