We had dinner at Bistango and had a lovely night. Kind server, great food and a unique ambiance. Upon departure the valet said the key wouldn’t open the car. When my partner walked over and open the car the valet quickly said “well it cause he has his phone.” My partner pulled over and picked me up, he gave me tip money and said “will you get the ticket for the gate?” When I asked the valet for the ticket he said “oh, I guess you need that, thanks for the tip.” While I still had the tip in my hand. I was so stunned I paused in order to take in that he was actually soliciting a tip from me. And not even in a smooth or creative way, but in a disrespectful and entitled way. I asked what his name was and he said Hector. I turned around and walked to the car, with my tip in hand. I hate that this will be the lasting memory of this place. Forced valet, and the valet was rude and entitled. Hector, working the night shift on 10.14.24, is not doing a positive service to the Bistango company.

Got the Trio from West Coast Hibachi...very tasty, well seasoned, all components cooked well. Very pricy however, even with the substantial portion sizeEditing my review: since my initial review I've returned here three times to try a new truck based on the schedule posted to the website. All three times there was no one there at all =/

Hands down the absolute best place for quality of service and unbelievably tasty food. The steak, the fish, the vegetarian dishes are all beyond excellent. And the ambiance indoors and out is memorable. This is not merely a restaurant, it is an event.

Bistango is a wonderful restaurant. Great art work throughout, great music in the evenings and a wonderful bar. Outside seating is peaceful and quiet on the weekends but can get a little loud during the week due to traffic, but not L.A. loud. I have had about 60 meals here over the years and never have I ever had a bad one. The owners are great people too. You can't go wrong having a diner here for any occasion.

Reservations friendly to make. Atmosphere conducive to table discussions. Our waiter, Michael made the meal even more special as we visited with our two young nieces. We all enjoyed the menu - sampled pasta, steak, potatoes, lamb, and the incredible twin grand marnier and chocolate souffle. Wow! Again, Michael led the incredible wait staff team. From our reception to departure, we felt pampered by friends. Again - YES!

We absolutely love this place. Our favorite place to eat. We usually begin our order with the Organic Greens Salad, to start. For dinner, the Oven-Roasted Chilean Sea Bass and Prime Angus Rib Eye Steak and finish our meal with a chocolate souffle and the whiskey raisin bread pudding, along with a cappuccino. Great atmosphere for any occasion.

We had an excellent dinner on our first visit to Bistango in several years. The shrimp pasta was delicious and slightly spicy. The swordfish was very good. The chocolate soufflé was worth coming off a diet for. And the service was prompt, kind, and professional.

Bistango quickly became our “go to spot back in the late 1990’s It remains so today …. The ambiance is wonderful, the service is solid and timely, and the food retains its high quality. Weekends they also usually have music in the bar…it’s a small dance floor but it does create a nice atmosphere.

Love the variety of food trucks that Brad brings! He provides plenty of seating and shade. You arent allowed to park in the parking lot but you can park nearby in that lemonade plaza across the street!My favorites are sol agave, and mad dumplings which are there frequently. I highly recommend the longanisa and mac n cheese dumplings from mad dumplings! For sol, I recommend their carne asada bowl and pork belly tacos

I consider myself somewhat of a Ensenada or Baja Fish Taco connoisseur and these are the best in Los Angeles. Perfect amount of crunch and tender Fish (or shrimp), the right feexins and sauces, as well as extremely reasonable prices; The Lunch Spot OC is as good as it gets.
Went here for a special anniversary dinner. Live jazz music playing in the background.since it was a Monday night. All outdoor seating at this point in time but they have made it very pretty with happy red umbrellas. Food was perfect in both presentation and taste. Beet salad for sure! Staff was attentive.

They have had several concerts already and have several more on their schedule. These are the Summer Jazz Concert Series that have been held at The Hyatt New-porter in past years. We really enjoy any live jazz, it is seldom heard anywhere during the pandemic. We split a 2 inch thick Chilean Sea Bass. It comes with Mushroom Risotto, Asparagus and Concord Grape Sauce. Simply glorious. She had a glass of La March Prosecco, I chose to have a glass of Pessimist by Daou of Paseo Robles, a Red Blend.

Had the flat iron steak. Very pricey for a dish easily made at home. Ordered medium, but the steak came rare and only luke-warm. The potatoes au gratin that came with the steak were greasy-soggy and barely warm. The food was edible, but that is about all. Not worth the above average prices. If you like to drink and dance with an older crowd, you'll like Bistango's Friday night scene. If you really like good food, not so much.

We've been coming here for over 20 years and the food is still very good with excellent service. The bar area is always busy and there is live music which starts at 7PM which is appreciated by those of us who are not night-owls!

Excelent foods but This restaurant is not Professional treated. They were not honor their voicher credits, He said to their customers tonight : "you guys come here looking for the free diners" During the Chirstmas time 2019, I was my birthday party in the private room.... we spent over $4000 and the end ....we got a voicher back about $500.... Today Feb 23rd 2020. We had the party this restaurant again for my wife and friends and we can write off this voicher this GUY general maneger did not let us write off... tonight we spent up to $1000 again wife and friends .. 1- This restaurant was not honor their voicher when they issued. 2- They said to their customer : You GUYS came her ask for the free diners? 3- They did not reconiged who is their employees who was issued the voicher's. 4- They were runing up and down looking for answer the customers issue..it made too late the diner times. 5- He had lied when final issue. He said " i did not said You GUYs come here and looking for a free diner!!!!" Total we had 12 peoples and we heart what he said>>> and more........can not write more about it....BAD! BAD ! BAD!
