I had toasts there and they were really good. The drinks were fine for me too. Only thing i want to say is the food delivery, when the food is done they just leave it there at the counter. One time i didn’t know if it was ready and waited then i went inside to check and the toast already not warm.

I thoroughly enjoyed their coffee, which was the second time I visited. The lively atmosphere was great, but it was also quite crowded. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice strawberry matcha. Great place to get work done. Prices are a bit much for the quality/quantity.

Came in looking for a coffee and I’m so happy I chose this place! I was greeted politely and I asked for a recommendation, I tried the banana caramel latte I believe and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had in my life! The place is nice and cozy, they have a bunch of pastries that looked really good. Definitely will come back when I’m in Irvine again!

Mugs is a local favorite of mine. Coffee is excellent, service is excellent, and vibes are excellent. Great place to sit down for a few hours to get some studying or work done.
I recommend trying their Tiramisu Latte, it's THE best sweet treat coffee drink ever
The one thing you may find frustrating about Mugs is lack of indoor sitting space, during out of school and off work hours it gets quite packed and people are slow to leave. Its the favorite study place to a lot of the highschool and college students in the area so they can stay for hours at a time getting there work done. But if you don't mind waiting a minute or eating outside you will have a guaranteed 11/10 experience

Yeah this is a no for me. Full of loud teenagers. Not a relaxing or focused atmosphere. But a good hangout for friends!

I used to love coming this Coffee Everyday, but the closing time situation is just getting ridiculous. Today I went in for a coffee at 9:30 while I was standing at the counter, and the staff tells me, “Oh we stop serving at 9:30.” Then why are your hours listed until 10? Every time I come, it feels like there’s a new closing time. It’s honestly frustrating and inconsistent to the point where it’s just annoying now. Either update your hours or stop turning away customers.

I don’t go to cafes often, but The Mugs has become a frequent favorite of mine in Irvine. It’s conveniently located next to Zion Market with plenty of parking in the lot. There’s a good amount of seating both indoors and outside, and most people seem to come here to grab a drink and get some work or studying done—it has a chill, productive vibe.
I really like the variety they offer when it comes to both drinks and food. In the past, I’ve tried some of their hot espresso drinks like the horchata latte, which was delicious. Lately though, I’ve been *obsessed* with one of their spring specials: the banana matcha latte. The matcha is topped with a thick, banana pudding-like layer that adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the earthy matcha. It’s refreshing, indulgent, and feels just right now that the weather’s warming up.
If you're not into coffee or matcha, they have a solid selection of teas too—my boyfriend usually orders those. I haven’t tried any of their food items yet, but they definitely look tempting.
Give this place a try if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy cafe with great seasonal drinks and a relaxed atmosphere!
