Their BLTA sandwich is better than life, the faux bacon they use is unbelievably delicious and a million times better than real bacon.

I am not vegan... I want to say this first, but I found this place here on yelp. Thought the food looked so good I have to give it a try. And I am so happy I did. The place is kinda hard to find as it is inside the vegan market. So it's kinda of in an industrial area. But it's a cute little market, with tons of vegan snacks and food. The radical beet is toward the back.. I tried the patty melt made with a beet patty and fries. The seasoning on the fries was so good. They also have sauces for the fries, I got one called gay sauce, which is supposed to be like Chick-fil-A sauce... and I can tell you it's better. It is thinner, but the flavor was awesome. I also tried another sauce, I can't remember the name, but it's like in n out spread... and that one was my favorite. The service is awesome, they are all very friendly and helpful.

You get a choice between 1) impossible 2) beyond meat 3) beet patty for the radical burger. I asked them what they recommended and they said to choose the impossible. It's delicious and their sauce makes it yummy. At home, I cook the impossible and beyond meat patties for my burger and while it's good it's not the same as the Radical burger. They use vegan cheese and I can't really tell much difference between the vegan and real cheese.

I really enjoyed this place, and the owner is so nice! I had the radical burger with the homemade beet patty. The flavor was perfect. The texture was a little soft, but overall I really enjoyed it. The french fries were delicious too! My friend had La Chingona and loved it. Nothing feels better than supporting a delicious, local, vegan establishment! I will definitely be back.

Holy moly, we absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back. The sandwiches are amazing, even the cold cuts in the cooler section.Only two minor gripes: I found the classic mac 'n cheez a little blander than I'd hoped, and the flavor that was there didn't taste quite as cheesy as I'd hoped. Second, the sauce on the animal fries was a little sweet for me. I would have liked something that was had a little more balance of tango was that you get from regular thousand island dressing. Those are super minor though. We loved everything else and are just drooling to go back again!

Maybe best avoided until they can get their kitchen/food cleaned up. Ate here Friday for lunch and both people who had lettuce on their sandwiches thee up violently for about 6 hours. My 19 year old had to be taken to the ER. Both said the food tasted off and I told them they would be fine. Could have also been the ranch drizzle being bad. Both got hit around 8pm which makes the timing right. Not happy to write this but cleanliness or throwing out bad food is a must.

The owner was so cool and down to earth. Great service and amazing food. The chick-fil-gay sandwhich with tofu was just like a fish filet. Keep it up!

I got the Ani pal Mac and cheese. Was probably one of the better vegan Mac and cheeses that I've had. My only suggestion is that the noodles seemed a bit overcooked and were a bit mushy but other than. It had great flavor and was delicious. The chick FIL gay was very tasty. The edges are crispy and the center very moist without being mushy. Again the service here was excellent. They had a couple tables inside and some more outside. Located on a quiet street. Definetly worth checking out and the vegan market also!!

Every time I have a craving for a burger or anything meaty, I head down to the RadicalBeet to get my fix! Radical Beet can be found inside the San Diego Vegan Market (located in a quiet industrial park in Grantville with ample parking). The menu item names are quite clever! It just warms my heart to know this place is getting the love and kudos it deserves- what a gem in the neighborhood! Super filling, flavorful and at a great price, you won't be disappointed.

We got the Burrito and the Anar-cristo sandwich. Both were simply scrumptious. They are generous with the proteins and everything is toasted and crisped to perfection. You could hear the bite of these tater tots from across the room. They're located inside the San Diego Vegan Market, so be sure to browse the market for a drink to go with your meal :)Vegetarian options: All vegan menuDietary restrictions: All vegan menu
