I was in town on a business trip and decided to try this spot out with a couple friends. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance and the bartender. We ordered a bottle of wine and the sausage penne pasta.I initially ordered the linguini but was not impressed. They changed out my meal with no problem. The scallion bread is really good too. I'll definitely be back to visit.

10/10! The location of this restaurant is quite unique. In-between office buildings, you will find this hidden gem. Valet is available or you can have them validate your ticket if you park in the parking structure. Service is EXCEPTIONAL! Immediately upon arriving, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The inside is pretty small, so this is a great spot for an intimate date night. They have a cute patio with a fire pit as well as heaters to keep you nice and toasty. The amount of different whiskey they have is insane! Not suggesting you try them all in 1 day butttttttt....if you are looking to try something new, definitely check out their selection. 10oz. American WAGYU Hanger, 10/10 16oz. American WAGYU Ribeye, 10/10 Mac & Cheese with lobster tail, 10/10 Spicy Salmon Crudo, 10/10 I can't wait to come back!

Twenty Eight is located at the Google Center on Jamboree. You can self-park in the parking structure (enter from Fairchild Road) and get your ticket validated when you enter the restaurant. We made reservations online and had to put in a deposit that was reduced from the final bill. BRUSSELS SPROUTS ($14) - the brussels sprouts were very well charred which added to its flavor. They were slightly sweet and salty from the salame. It's a good dish if you need some veggies. 4/5 MACARONI & CHEESE ($12) - they used gemelli for their pasta shape and I wasn't the biggest fan of it but the dish was still good and cheesy. I really liked the melted cheese on top and I especially liked the crab meat add-on! 4.5/5 PAPPARDELLE ($28) - the pasta was fresh and I liked the meat in it. There wasn't a lot of sauce and I would've liked more but it was still a flavorful dish. 4.5/5 ANGUS FILET MIGNON ($92) - they had two size options: 8oz for $52 and 16oz for $92. The meat was nicely charred on the outside and so tender on the inside. On its own it could've used more salt or other seasoning but I liked dipping it into its own juices on the plate. This was my favorite dish! 5/5 CENTRAL PARK ($24) - this was a smoked drink but the rosemary smelled and tasted a little too burnt. It was a stiff drink and I liked it but the rosemary was a little off-putting. 3/5 THE REBEL ($18) - this drink was very light and easy to drink. The sugar rim made it sweeter and on top of that the drink had a good presentation. 4.5/5 AN EARLY FLIGHT ($17) - they didn't have the earl grey-infused cognac so I just opted for normal cognac. I don't know how big of an effect that had on the balance of the drink but it was too floral-y from the creme de violette. I can't imagine it would change it that much or else they wouldn't offer it but it just wasn't pleasant to drink. 2/5 I wasn't a fan of the cocktails but the food was delicious! I still think about the filet mignon from time to time and the service was great as well.

I have mixed feelings about this place. There was nothing on the bad side, I just feel that overall the food was not worth the cost. The service was great, and the staff was polite and friendly. The food was top quality food, but my issue was nothing had any flavor to it. Everything my wife and I ate seemed like it was plain. Also, if it is raining, make sure you bring an umbrella. The parking lot is a bit of a walk from the restaurant and there is no place to drop people off upfront.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars because the food was delicious but what stomped me was the ambience. It's more of a bar than a fancy restaurant. It's like a crossover from a Mastros and bosscat. We came on a Tuesday night so service was pretty fast and they put us in a bigger table. Usually when you done for two they put you in a tiny table and do not accommodate your wants. We always want to sit side by each other so a small two person table is always a no go for us. Plus we like to order a lot of food. We ordered the American wagyu rib eye, Spanish octopus and spinach. All was good including the wine.

Was here for a conference, so I can't speak in the restaurant experience. Regardless, the servers were very respectful of the space and attentive, so they did not disturb the conference and still were timely and helpful. The spicy salmon crudo was flavorful and fresh with a slight kick. Was my favorite appetizer of the night. The DiStefano burrata was creamy and fresh as well. My main was the sea bass in a lemon butter jus and it was rich and tender, perfectly cooked. The roasted potatoes on the side were fantastic as well. The drink selection was small with only a few reds and white wines available, but the servers were very attentive to the glasses that needed refilling. The dessert option was chocolate cake with cream and it was a great end to the meal service.

Boy do we love us some steak! And it doesn't get better than a big juicy tomahawk cooked to a perfect medium rare! At @twentyeightoc we enjoyed a date night of scrumptious dish after dish starting with the endive mushroom salad, working our way to the wood fire cooked tomahawk and ending with a warm chocolate cake a la mode. The food here is delicious and the ambiance is intimate and inviting. My only gripe is the price point as I do feel like the dishes are priced too high, perhaps due to the location.

Here for Mother's Day brunch. Food portions were very American, service was great, but the late morning ambiance was cold.
