Mixed review incoming. I Love veggie grill. Years ago I was Veggie Grill's first birthday party and we remember thinking how successful it would be, and sure enough it was. I liked the fast casual look and feel mixed with a large menu/ variety to pick from especially in terms of gluten-free options. However, this is where my review takes a slight turn.Don't take this the wrong way, I absolutely love Veggie Grill and still pop over today to the locations up in LA, but the menu is constantly changing. I just feel like they used to have a greater variety (of GF and in general) of meals that were more wholesome and less commercialized. They used to have this dish called "The Gluten-free Power Plate" and it was SO good and balanced; grilled portobello mushroom w caramelized mushrooms, tempeh steak with guacamole and steamed kale on the side. They also had this "Bahn Mi Bowl" that was fantastic; you got way more portion wise and the food was just better. Now, I still love their burgers with the gluten-free bun even though I think they are on the smaller side for the price. Their fries are fantastic (regular and sweet potato) and I've never had an issue with service at this location or any other. I just wish Veggie Grill would have taken a less commercialized approach and hadn't changed what (in my opinion) made them so great. Still love, still recommend and still nonetheless a go-to for a quick burger.

This place has been missed. I forgot how much I adore the sweet potato fries. I'm a nacho person and these hit the spot, having a nice kick and creaminess from the sauce. The salads are huge you can't go wrong and the ambiance is enjoyable as ever with the option to take in the fresh air outside!

Been here a few times! Really enjoy the outside eating area. The food never disappoints! We all had a very fun time eating outside on the covered patio near a warm fireplace. Our dear friends both had juicy burgers, and I had the shaved steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. So flipping mouth watering ? and full of deliciousness! My mom had fish and regular fries. She said it was good. The waiter Kyle, was very good and attentive to our every request ?.

Paid $21 for what you see in the photo. Def not worth it to me. I was not full at all plus it really had no taste to it. They only gave me one little thing of Ranch which didn't last for my order of fries. The food used to be better. Could be this one location. Idk. I won't be eating at this one again though.

So let me just say I got bamboozled by DoorDash and that's how I ended up here AGAIN. If your ordering from "Más veggie taqueria" it's actually the Veggie Grill. The way I was mortified when I drove up. Let's get into the food. I ordered the Baja burrito and chips and salsa and a side of queso. The burrito was flavorless. Unseasoned. Needed salt/ and the rice was quite dry. The "fish" was great (knowing that I have had that meat substitute at other vegan restaurants before, so it's definitely not made in house) . The salsa... was anything but. I actually LAUGHED because the green verde salsa was definitely made out of green apples. It was sweet and looked like I was served a "healthy" smoothie from a middle school cafeteria. The red rojo salsa was watered down tomato broth. It was the better of the two salsas on the menu. Lastly, the queso....words can't describe the nasty texture of the cheese sauce. As a vegan chain, I really want to hold them accountable for their lack of quality control. For the Baja burrito, I would recommend a nice chipotle Crema to give it that moisture that it was clearly lacking. It doesn't have to be that hard. Offering sides of limes/cilantro goes along way. For the salsa, I would have the staff learn a basic, yet flavorful salsa recipe. For the cost and overall lack of flavor, it doesn't make sense for a vegan to eat here there are so many vegan restaurants that do what veggie Grill does, and better for the same costs please do better.

Veggie Grill was one of the reasons I started to eat a little bit healthier. When I try to eat a little bit more vegetarian or vegan, the options are very difficult if you are not well educated. I realize that you are able to eat meat when you are vegan, but not actual meat. More like tofu or fake meat or vegan meat.I came to this location because it's nearby my work. And I love the french fries. When I started to come here for the first time their options on their menu were very limited. They didn't have that many options when they first started. But now they have so many different options and I'm so excited to try different items on the menu. I recommend you to try the Santa Fe chicken burger with a side of fries. You will not regret it

Love love love Veggie Grill! Always easy and quick plant based eats and conveniently located at the Irvine Spectrum. Angel, the manager, is the best he always make sure you know what specials are going on and provides the best service. My husband always gets the Carne Asada burrito from the Mas Veggies menu. PRO TIP: Ask for the nacho "cheese" in your burrito it's so fire! I also love to order the VG Classic burger, it's so much like a regular burger you don't even notice and it's delicious! The cauliflower bites are amazing too, they come with either Buffalo or seet and spicy orange sauce, I prefer the orange because it's practically orange chicken. The nachos are also so great and it comes with ground "beef" that has a lot of flavor. We've tried their bowls but we keep coming back to the sandwiches and wraps, they take the cake.

The food is good and the fish tacos and fried Cauliflower is to die for. However I can’t tell you how the Kimchi beef bowl taste because that’s what I ordered and got this instead. I don’t know what it is. When I asked the server she said it’s a salad. I’m still waiting on my bowel going 45 minutes in. The first picture is what I ordered it just came while I’m typing this the second is what was served first.Update the Kimichi beef bowl was good and had various layers of flavors but it was cold.

Environment has become less inviting over the years. No seating outside because they closed up tables early. No Apple Pay or other contactless payment in 2022 and during a pandemic (now endemic) seems like a bizarre.Overall the food is pretty good and options do change a bit so don't fall to heavily in love with menus. If the leadership would tighten up things and focus on experience 5 stars would be achievable for sure! At the end of the day I'm glad there's a vegetarian option for quick food, because before it wasn't easy!

Angel is the best manager, I went out of his way to take my order with patience and made great suggestions as I was undecided. I had received a promo code but couldn't make it work via the app so he helped me out and walked me through it. Also the VG Classic and the nachos were made with so much love, food was tasty and fresh. The store was clean and not very loud so me and my wife had an amazing lunch, thank you again Angel.

The Super Greens and Quinoa Salad was good. The sweet potato fries were also good although not as hot or even warm as I would have preferred. My daughter enjoyed the nachos, which I tasted, yummy. They might have been short on help since some of the tables weren't cleaned as quickly.Vegetarian options: So many options, all vegetarian.

I came in here for a burger after a hike. My friends and I figured it was healthy food. We didn’t even realize it was vegetarian until we walked out. We were so impressed! This one our first vegetarian burger and I was left so impressed that I may have to come bad an try other vegetarian restaurants!

Loved the Ahi Tacos. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance, Margarita was exceptional. The Ahi Tuna Taco presentation was beautiful but it tasted even better. The server was attentive and helpful.

For a quick vegan meal veggie grill is one of the very best places to go. The entire menu is vegan so you won't waste any time wondering what you can and can't eat. And the food is actually very good. Try the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and sweet potato fries if you've never been before. Their lemonade is delicious too.
