20 odd $ a plate.. and the beef had an odd gasoline or kerosene aftertaste . The veggies were just ok. Very disappointed.

Portion is pretty sizable esp the rice, meat portion is ok, sides are lacking, at $16 for a combo I’d expect at least Mac salad or sth with the regular salad or more meat and less rice.
I think at this price I’d rather go to flame broiler or nick the Greek next door. Also the rice was a bit mushy.

After picking up the kids from Deerfield Community Center around 4 PM, we stopped by Culver Drive Plaza and found Wagyu Meat & Grill offering a weekday happy hour (2–5 PM) with entrees #1–4.
We ordered two Wagyu beef bowls (#1) and got a free spicy pork bowl (#4). The beef had a smoky grilled flavor that made each bite extra satisfying. We’ll definitely return for their happy hour.

Really really sad day for me… waygu at culver plaza used to be my GOTO hands down MOST FAVORITE place to go when I wanted a good beef bowl. When it opened originally the mini bowl was like 7 or 8 dollars… I just spend $12 + tax for a beef bowl i would’ve expected at my high school cafeteria. It seems like the same beef but the way it is cooked id rather eat at Panda Express, which I used to make fun of in contrast to my MOST FAVORITE local food chain in recent memory: Waygu Grill. I used to bring my Brazilian friends to waygu grill: and they’d say “wow mano, this Carne is like Carne in Brazil… muito Bom”. I brought my fkn Brazilian wife to wagyu with my MOTHER IN LAW… and they LOVED IT!! Today, I’ll probably never go into another waygu grill, very very sad day because Waba grill is the only alternative and I thought of them as 7/10 at most. Now waba is my goto… sadly :( (I hope you guys can lower prices and cook the beef better but I doubt this will happen, thanks for good meals in the past tho)

Massive portions for a decent price! I recommend the wagyu beef for sure. For sides, the kale and cabbage were flavorless and I’d recommend switching them out for a side of mac salad (so yummy!).

Over sauced beef and it doesn’t even come hot. Definitely not cooked when u order. But their reheating doesn’t even try to fake it. It’s basically cold leftovers. Asked them to heat it and they acted confused. Really first and last. The place in Fullerton is good. Somehow the rest are just crap. Portion is little too. Hope they open up a new spot soon
