We have Loved Wood Ranch and the Asian chicken salad for a very long time. Our favorite thing about the salads that set them apart from other restaurants is the amazing quality of the chicken breast slices.We picked up two of the salads last night and were very disappointed in the quality of the chicken breast. There were several pieces of dark meat included and the white meat was not bad but was Very ordinary, like Something you would get at Costco instead of the quality we had enjoyed in the past. Luckily we had included extra BBQ chicken or there would not have been enough protein to make it a satisfying meal.

The ribs were smoky and tender, and the sides like mac and cheese and cornbread were delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. The casual yet lively vibe made it a great spot for both families and groups of friends.

Disappointed. Service was great, very kind gentleman served us, however, garlic bread was incredibly tough, meat tasted like it had bbq sauce slathered on but no flavor itself, and brisket was dry as if it had been reheated multiple times. Came on Friday evening with high expectations and recieved a subpar experience for a high price. Would not recommend.

It’s been years since I was last at Wood Ranch and our recent visit made me question why I haven’t been back sooner. I didn’t catch our server’s name, but I want to commend her on her exceptional service. According to our receipt, her name is Tingna. She was friendly and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Kudos to her!
I also didn’t recall that Wood Ramch serves complimentary garlic bread which is both soft, warm and delicious. For my entree I opted for the BBQ Two Item Combo which included 2 proteins (pictured are the brisket and baby back ribs) and 2 sides (baked potato and mac ‘n cheese). I enjoyed every morsel, but I will say that the brisket was on the dryer side and I wish it was more moist. We washed down our meal by sharing a pomegranate lemonade. I also appreciate that Wood Ranch participates in the Irvine Company’s Kids Eat Free summer program…if you don’t know now you know!

Our server was Cameron, and he was the best! Friendly, fast, and courteous. I went with my husband, son, his wife and my 2 grandkids. All of our meals were good. I had delicious, fall off the bones spare ribs. Beans were great.

Came for a birthday dinner on a Monday and almost every table was full, however we got seated quickly. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was flavorful but portions were so small we had to end up re-ordering more for our party. The view of the lake was nice from the patio
