Amazing ? ?We went on a rainy day, and I craved heartwarming food. The service here was supper friendly. We were standing outside, trying to figure out what they sold. The guy came out with the menu. He also helped us order. We have the pork belly and beef noodles. Both were very tasty and not dealy spicy. Kimchi is 10 out of 10 ? The restaurant is full of Kpop atmosphere. They really fulfill my craving after watching k drama.

Oh well, food is all about your own preferences. I don’t like sweetness in my food, so a 4-*. You are welcomed to disagree.Having said that Banchan (side dishes) however is the winner.Services are very good, waiters check every table periodically and frequently enough, making sure every needs are taken care of.

Love this Korean noodle chain! Depending on the times you are there, this place (and it's other locations) can get PRETTY PACKED! I had the original yuk gae jang and all noodles generally come with the beef strips and a LOT of onions.Spice levels are tolerable, unless you really can't handle spicy foods. Most noodles come with glass noodles, but I highly recommend the fresh pasta since the noodles are thicker and easier to see. All the noodles are delicious however so I'm always having difficulty picking. ?Location of this place is near H-Mart, a Korean marketplace, and if this place is too crowded and you're not patient enough to wait, I'd recommend checking out the other food locations nearby!Parking: Lots of available parking spots at the plaza. If you're not familiar with the Irvine area, don't worry about the green colored parking spots, that's normal there.Wheelchair accessibility: Clearly labeled wheelchair accessible parking and easy to get in and out of the plaza.

The beef brisket Sul Lung Tang with glass noodle (clear soup) tasted bland at first; however, I added a little bit of my husband's original YukGaeJang soup (red soup) broth, and it tasted a lot better. From my past experience with Korean restaurants, I like to order clear soups first and gradually add things to my soup to achieve a spice level that is tolerable for me since a lot of Korean dishes are mostly spicy in the first place. The YukGaeLang had a pretty herbal taste that paired very well with the thin slices of brisket. As far as the thin pork belly slices, we ordered a small dish, which was perfect for the two of us. It was our first time having pork belly slices at a Korean restaurant, and the way you eat it is like a burger wrapped in lettuce. Take a piece of a pork belly slice, wrap it in lettuce, and add whatever you want in it- I thoroughly enjoyed adding the fish cake, kimchi, and garlic. The service was fast and the staff was attentive to our needs. The restaurant itself is pretty small, so we were lucky because it was just the two of us, and we got seated fast. There were customers that came in large groups, and I would safely assume it was a longer wait time for them. Overall, we will come back to try new stuff next time!

I'm surprised I haven't tried this place all these years. While shopping next door, I noticed the restaurant was full of diners in the evening so I decided to try it out. I had the glass noodles seafood soup. It was very good. Just wish it was a tad hotter. I like my soup piping hot. But it was very tasty. And they give you plenty of side dishes and quick to refill. Great service. Owner was very nice. Will be back again.

Clean restaurant and the service was good. Recommend the bossam and their house-made noodle option in their soups.

My boyfriend and I were debating where to eat for Valentine's Day dinner. We then landed on getting bossam. We had bossam at a restaurant in LA and we were obsessed so we're happy to find a place in Irvine that serves it! We arrived and there was no wait so we were immediately seated. We ordered the small size for the bossam and the army stew hotpot style to share. This was a lot of food for the 2 of us! They were both delicious and I enjoyed the sides, especially the fish cakes. We did have leftovers of the stew and feel like this would be perfect to share with 3 people. For next time, we will likely get the bossam again but in medium size and not order the army stew unless we're eating with a bigger group. We wish we had more portions of pork belly to eat! Thank you for the great service!

Order the dried cod hot pot and the seafood chige hot pot. You can choose between white rice and purple rice. Complimentary Oden, Kimuchi, fresh chives and onions are first placed on the table. The server is very friendly and helpful. The dried cod hot pot has a monotonous and gentle flavor. You may get bored of it in the latter half of the meal. The seafood chige hot pot was spicy and tasty with lots of ingredients such as shrimp, shellfish, and tofu.

Good service. Food was mediocre- bossam was super dry and hard. Bulgogi wasn't bad - there was a huge chunk in there that was really hard to separate. I should have probably ordered the other stews that looked good when I saw others order it but these two dishes were below par.

Solid place for a yuk gae jang and other Korean food options. I like how this place uses the traditional yuk gae jang to create other dishes by putting in ingredients like soon tofu, ramen, kalguksu, etc. The portions are huge here. They refill side dishes with no extra charge which is always appreciated. I would say the soup itself isn't the best. It lacks a bit of deep flavor and a bit too cloudy than the typical yuk gae jang. It also missed a few vegetables that typically goes into traditional yuk gae jang, but their forte is the variety and twist on the traditional well-known Korean dish. Service was friendly and fast.

Love it so much! Noodle(ramyeon?) yukgaejang is the best. Must try :) I prefer this to a fresh noodle. It tastes the same as Yukdaejang in Korea.
