Acai Bowls near Isla Vista, CA

“I love açaí bowls and Oakberry definitely hits the spot! They use a standard base but then allow customization through various toppings. I love their peanut butter, goji berries, and banana combo. The bowls are delicious- I devour them! It's refreshing and filling. I really like the IV location too. It's a fun reason to visit my college roots and stroll around IV while eating an açaí bowl :) if you prefer to eat there, they do have indoor searing options and the spot is nicely decorated. Their staff are always friendly and helpful. They do not have dedicated parking, but there is a lot nearby you can pay to park at or look for street parking.“

“The coffee is honestly super overpriced for what you get, but it's definitely a good place if you prefer a less sweet coffee. Their matcha especially I found is a bit stronger and less artificial. The lines are usually long on the weekends as it's the perfect study spot, so good luck getting a seat inside! They do have some cool drinks to try out though, and I recommend getting your drink with oat milk since it's made in house which is pretty cool!“

“When I first came to town, I wanted a 'Jamba' they said this is Santa Barbara's 'jamba' so I went to check it out, and this place definitely did not disappoint. I still haven't figured out what my favorite drink is because I'm still exploring the menu but I love going here.“

I tend to prefer Dune over Lighthouse, because the service at Lighthouse can be inconsistent, but on this particular day it sufficed.Milk steam quality: 5/5. The temperature was perfect and the texture like silk. The pour was perfect as well.Espresso quality: 5/5. “Oh my goodness I had the most amazing PB&J bowl from here! They use steel cut oats and it was so yummy. This protein/carb/fat perfectly balanced bowl kept me full for 7 hours!! And the taste was to die for. I did order on the app at 8, said it would be ready at 8:20, it was finished at 8:35. I didn't mind, I'm in no rush. But for someone in a rush, just something to keep in mind. It's so worth it though! I'll definitely be back!“

“Amazing coffee shop open from early hours. I had a hot dirty chai, and it was extremely rich in flavor and one of the top chai’s i’ve had in California. The cafe is so cozy with a charging port, water station, and a clean restroom. Recommended!“
