7 Best Chicken Wings near Isla Vista

“Vons Chicken Isla Vista is a decent chain for groups on a budget (<10$ per person if you are sharing). There are plenty of seats both indoors and outside and food comes out in about 10-15 minutes.We ordered a full order with half "Honey Butter" and half "Soy Garlic". The "Honey Butter" adds a slight sweetness to the chicken. The fry for both chickens were good, but needed a bit more salt.This location doesn't have self-serve water or public restrooms. Service was really friendly. I would come here if I was eating on a budget and craving decent chicken.

Parking: There were just a few spots open when we came on a Saturday lunch. There are other parking lots nearby (ex: community center parking)“

“I recently ordered Jonesy's catering for a 30-person event and it was a HUGE hit. Pickup was easy, the containers the food was packed in were really nice and easy to set up, and our guests RAVED about the food, especially the chicken and the mac and cheese. Thanks to Kyle and his team!“

“Ordered a Medium set with 4 mild wings and 4 garlic parmesan wings (boneless). Wings were excellently fried - crunchy on the outside but moist on the inside. While the taste of garlic could be more potent, the garlic parmesan wings were well prepared. However the sauce for the mild wings were too much on the sour side. Fries were flavorful but unfortunately not served piping hot. The mustard dip complemented well with the wings and fries but were way too mild and sweet. Service was reasonably good but some improvements needed regarding the cleanliness of the indoor dining area.84% (B+)“

The area where this place really shines is both in their slightly more upscale liquor selection as well as a very refined food menu. Excellent pizzas and a variety of other delectables that are well-above the typical bar fare. Prices are typical of Santa Barbara but you're getting very good quality for the money you spend.

Nice spot to hang out if you like pool or music or cocktails.
