The food here was absolutely amazing. I was a little skeptical because it’s in a strip mall and you pay before the food is brought to your table. However, the place was clean, the staff was courteous and most importantly, the food was delicious! I highly recommend checking them out.

Classic taqueria cafeteria style with everything you're looking for. We live across the street put in a take-out order...La Esmeralda 10/10! Green chicken enchiladas, chicken fajitas, and La Esmeralda El Pastor burrito. Salsa bar, chips, pickled carrots and jalapenos...we got everything we wanted! The best in Amador!

Food is incredible, service is fast, music isn't too loud, staff is friendly! Watched one the employees change the salsa bar containers while eating, meaning the food is ALWAYS fresh/they change the bins regularly. Floors and tables were incredibly clean and my food came out hot and fresh.
