“considering the place updated, or fancy and painted in horrible colors the food was surprisingly amazing. Wasn't fond of having to stand in line to order and pay before getting served and then wait to be seated, very strange way of doing things, but the food was amazing...”
“My favorite is the chicken marsala. This time we got the short ribs which were delicious with creamy polenta and honey ? carrots. Yum! The fried calamari was disappointing, definitely not as good as last time (last time they were great) seemed like we got more breading than actual calamari and the sauces weren't as good either.Could have just been an off night.. We will definitely go back because the service is always excellent and good food, and it's cheerful.”
“This place is so great! The salad bar was generous with a great variety of toppings and the gluten free pizza was tasty but the axe throwing was the highlight. My husband took to it right away but I couldn't get the hang of it and the owner took time to give me pointers which immediately made it way fun. Next time we are in Jackson, we will definitely be back.”
“I grew up coming to Teresa's with my parents and sister about once every few years, so coming in the week or two before Christmas was like walking down memory lane. Decorated for the holidays, it felt even warmer and cozier than I remember. My guy had never been before, and it was the perfect spot to stop in for an early dinner after day tripping in Jackson. Just as I remembered, the bread and soup were delectable to start, as were the generous salad portions - I can't rave enough about the toppings and dressing! For my main entree, I ordered the chicken piccata, and he chose the fettuccine Alfredo. By the time they arrived, we were nearly full from the bread, soup and salad, but still managed to push through ;) We "settled" for sharing dessert - walnut pie - because it felt criminal to leave without something sweet to top it all off. 10/10 would recommend this classic, unpretentious restaurant if you're craving great Italian home cooking. So happy to see that this local business has stood the test of time; check out their family history on the menu or ask your server! Bonus tip - if you're an animal lover, make sure to keep your eye out for the restaurant's unofficial mascot, a friendly neighborhood cat that was lounging on the porch outside when we got there and was particularly friendly.”
“Top notch establishment in all regards! A round of applause to the Chef and kitchen team, the menu options are broad yet cohesive and the execution of the food is exquisite! We enjoyed every single item from the soup of the day to the entrees to the delectable desserts! The atmosphere is classy in a casual way, feel free to dress up or just be comfortable. They have a fun bar area with a TV and plenty of great bourbon and other spirits, the menu of cocktails is a great mix of custom, classic & creative. And their dining area includes a lovely fireplace, mountain style architecture with distressed brick, love it!Service is fast, friendly and enjoyable, from the hostess, to the servers to the bar tenders, great all around!!”
“This is my second time coming to this establishment and each time has been great! Grew up eating a lot of pho and going to a bunch of different pho locations so this place is legit. The owner used to own and manage a pho restaurant in the Sacramento area but retired and closed it down. He is now out of retirement and running this restaurant now. This time around, we ordered the rare steak and beef ball pho, fried egg rolls, and crispy squid. All items came out fast and were all hot and tasty. The pho here always hits the spot - the broth is flavorful and clean. The location is prime as it is in the Safeway plaza so tons of parking, gas station near by, and other restaurants in the vicinity. Inside is clean and the service was great! I will say, this place is a little pricy for pho compared to other pho restaurants but it is still worth the pay since this is the only pho joint in Amador County.”
“Food is so good! Quality wines and ingredients. Will definitely frequent this place. One person working the floor at lunch. She worked hard, but it's tough with so many. Great atmosphere too. Thank you for a great meal!”
“There is a new owner. The menus are the same with some new items. The dining room has been remodeling, and there are two huge sea fish aquariums now. It's beautiful.”
“Food and service. Excellent food and friendly service. Doesn't this sound it should be the norm? Well it's not. We had pork chops, Caesar salad, onion rings and local red wine. All fabulous.”
“My family and I had dinner here on Thursday night. We all ordered different dishes and we loved them all. The waitress was very nice and came back to our table a few times to check on us. We will most definitely come back.”
“Best sandwiches in Jackson. I'm a fan of the Italian Sub, but everything is good including the meatball sub and chicken salad on a croissant. They also provide catering services which I've enjoyed at a special event. Like many shops on Main Street the interior is decorated with historic photos which are fun to see.”
“I have visited this place at its old and new location for over 32 years. Great service. Food is diner style and very good. Friendly attentive service. Inexpensive pricing. Love the cowboy platter & the local Jackson customers are fun to watch.....like armed shire folk. ”
“Very nice ladies serving the front of house. Honey walnut chicken and crab and cream cheese fried wontons were great. Chow mein was ok, a little bland. The hostess and waitress allowed me to wait there while my car was worked on nearby. Nice lunch.”
“Stopped here with my team after a basketball game 5 minutes before closing. Even though I was the only one there and they were cleaning everything up, the manager said he'd be happy to take my order because they were still open. The pizza was great, and we were able to feed the team for our two-hour drive home. A lot of places clean up and close down early nowadays. We were very happy to get something better than McDonald's for our ride home. Thanks, again!”
“Family visits here often. When I come to visit we always stop here. Food and service is great. Price reasonable. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Everyone has a different dish and all very good. 2 & 3 year olds ate a little of everyones.”
