“Our class went on a field trip to Mike Hill for California History Day and I stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe!!! Amazing people and amazing coffee and pizza bagel!!!! I highly recommend if you are in the area to pay them a visit!!!! It’s right next to the library!!!!”

“Wow! We just happened into Renegade today, and I am so glad we did. The patio was super cute, and very dog friendly. I was also so excited to see how many good gluten free options there were...and they actually tasted good! Their wines are equally as delicious...my favorites were the Pinotage, Tempranillo, and Mixed Breed Red. The service was awesome, and everyone is super friendly. We will definitely be back on our next trip!”

“High end eating in a small town of wine country. Would happily return if in the area. Full cocktail menu. Many local wines. Friendly staff. I got the pork chop which I normally wouldn't get out, but it was so delicious. Great mustard seasoning with baked apples on top with a plate of spaetzle. Great after a day of wine tasting to refuel.”

“This place is a hidden gem. They have breakfast and let me tell you it was amazing. The staff was so friendly. I met the owner and his wife l. They are such a nice couple. This place is a nice boutique hotel with beautiful decor. My wife and I are planning to stay here. Please check out the local shop and wine bars.Walkability: There are local shops restaurants and wine bars near the hotel.Noteworthy details: Cute quiet and this is a historic building with a ton of character.”

“I went here for the first time last week & the food is CRAZY GOOD! I had a BBQ Brisket sandwich with my first time trying fried pickles. They both were super yummy! The two people working there, were super polite, very informative & helpful. The serving sizes are great & the sandwich had plenty of meat in it. My friend & I split the order. Afterwards, we were very full. So much so, that we skipped dinner! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here. Great job Crazy Eddie! We will be back!”

“This is my second time coming to this establishment and each time has been great! Grew up eating a lot of pho and going to a bunch of different pho locations so this place is legit. The owner used to own and manage a pho restaurant in the Sacramento area but retired and closed it down. He is now out of retirement and running this restaurant now. This time around, we ordered the rare steak and beef ball pho, fried egg rolls, and crispy squid. All items came out fast and were all hot and tasty. The pho here always hits the spot - the broth is flavorful and clean. The location is prime as it is in the Safeway plaza so tons of parking, gas station near by, and other restaurants in the vicinity. Inside is clean and the service was great! I will say, this place is a little pricy for pho compared to other pho restaurants but it is still worth the pay since this is the only pho joint in Amador County.”

“This place is so great! The salad bar was generous with a great variety of toppings and the gluten free pizza was tasty but the axe throwing was the highlight. My husband took to it right away but I couldn't get the hang of it and the owner took time to give me pointers which immediately made it way fun. Next time we are in Jackson, we will definitely be back.”

“I grew up coming to Teresa's with my parents and sister about once every few years, so coming in the week or two before Christmas was like walking down memory lane. Decorated for the holidays, it felt even warmer and cozier than I remember. My guy had never been before, and it was the perfect spot to stop in for an early dinner after day tripping in Jackson. Just as I remembered, the bread and soup were delectable to start, as were the generous salad portions - I can't rave enough about the toppings and dressing! For my main entree, I ordered the chicken piccata, and he chose the fettuccine Alfredo. By the time they arrived, we were nearly full from the bread, soup and salad, but still managed to push through ;) We "settled" for sharing dessert - walnut pie - because it felt criminal to leave without something sweet to top it all off. 10/10 would recommend this classic, unpretentious restaurant if you're craving great Italian home cooking. So happy to see that this local business has stood the test of time; check out their family history on the menu or ask your server! Bonus tip - if you're an animal lover, make sure to keep your eye out for the restaurant's unofficial mascot, a friendly neighborhood cat that was lounging on the porch outside when we got there and was particularly friendly.”

“I love Good Friends. We are regulars and have been pleased every time. The people and service are the best. Everyone is very friendly and it makes for a happier meal. Every once in a while, I'll get a togo plate or a soup togo. It's so convenient. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. I'm restricted with some dietary issues, but I can always find some yummy items that make my tummy smile.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm using a walker now and there's plenty of room to get through the aisles.”

“We last minute asked if they could make gluten free cupcakes for a baby shower, like mandrakes from a movie we love. Not only did she say yes, but they were really good. (Only 1 person is gluten free) Everyone loved them. And the frosting on them was one of the best we've ever had. We will be coming back to them!”

Now we always stop by at LEAST once a week but we often eat there 2 or 3 times a week!!Everything on the menu is amazing, but we both tend to stick to our regular order most of the time! I get 2 super chicken tacos (extra spicy!) & Keary gets a super chicken burrito. It's delicious, always the perfect amount of food (never too full but always satisfied) & you can't beat the price! There's plenty of parking & they're just off of Hwy 88 in Pine Grove, so it's a convenient stop to make on the way back from Jackson.Hands down one of the BEST trucks I've EVER been to!
