“After almost 2 years returned to the Leger for a date night with my wife. Now, the new owners and the Management and Chef are what this town has needed to revive this treasure of a hotel and restaurant. The chef is a culinary dreamer and achiever who seems to be on the path of culinary enlightenment at the Hotel. All courses were layered with a passion and love for food that the Leger has never seen before. I loved the old chefs but they were armature at best of home BBQ kings. Johnathan is a Chef that has the gift that 99% of chefs wish they had. I recommend setting a reservation for a private dinner for 2 and let them take the wheel to create an experience, not just some dinner. Last night was a full circle moment that could have gone horribly wrong, but, not one thing can be complained about nor changed. A perfect evening and there will be more to come.”

“Pho has become our favorite "dine out" dish. We look for it on the road and routinely have it at ABC in Folsom, Thai Kitchen in Lodi, and Coriander in Midtown if we're there. To find a good pho option so close will save us time and gas. Leslie had the vegetarian in beef broth, and I had beef ball/rare steak. My toughest decision was large or small. Went with the small, which with extra noodles from Leslie's bowl was big enough. Deep, complex and perfect. Wish the beef choices had some vegetables in them but, based on everywhere, that's not traditional pho. Hope they add a wonton/noodle.”

“I’ve never had one bad experience here, the food is always SOOOO delicious!!!!! Hands down best burger joint in Amador county. Waaaay better than Cavana’s!! You will wait a bit here for the food as they grill it to order, but trust me it’s worth it. My most recent try was the Hawaiian burger, with extra crispy fries. 100/10 😊🩷”

“Good selection of beers. Seating inside with a t.v. showing sports. Outside patio and a building with tables. Didn't go in there so can't say much. Dogs were welcome. They have a selection of merchandise. Didn't eat there but there is a stand that sells dogs and fries. Maybe other items just saw dogs and fries.”

“Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Very generous portions. Service was excellent and the staff very hard working and friendly. Not fine dining, but fine food at very good prices. The restroom is to the back of the restaurant and you need a key to get it. Small, single use, but clean.”

“Oh my gosh, you have got to try this adorable little café inside Jackson fitness. I was blessed to try a couple of things this week especially an Asian fusion salad. I think that’s the name of it the most freshest ingredients, the most tasty of any salad I’ve ever had at a bistro Café Friendly people clean environment definitely a must visit”

“Associate David was helpful and informative of the new styles of pans and pizzas they're offering. We wanted the original pan but unfortunately it's been discontinued. He told uf to try out the Detroit Style or the crust less keto style (no thanks) but gave us other options. He was courteous, polite, and engaging. He likes his job and it shows....awesome employee, amazing customer service! Way to go David! 👏.”

“I drive an hour out of my way. Sometimes more just to come eat here 😁 I love the family style and the courses.. everything is so comforting. There's not a specific dish that I like more. I've had at least 5 or 10 different dishes.. The last time I was there I had the special. I had halibut. It was cooked perfectly. The polenta is so good. I think I come back just for that I was so stuffed.. And the cappuccinos? Yum! Yum! Yum!”

“Although I live in Turlock, I love love love Cavana‘s in Sutter Creek! This pub and grub has divine menus along with awesome presentations of food. I love the club sandwich and the garlic fries. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. You can meet people at other tables and formulate friendships. But back to the food, it is to die for!”
