“I went here for the first time last week & the food is CRAZY GOOD! I had a BBQ Brisket sandwich with my first time trying fried pickles. They both were super yummy! The two people working there, were super polite, very informative & helpful. The serving sizes are great & the sandwich had plenty of meat in it. My friend & I split the order. Afterwards, we were very full. So much so, that we skipped dinner! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here. Great job Crazy Eddie! We will be back!”

“Gooney's Bar is an oasis and welcome mirage in the relatively deserted Foothill region. Not only is the cabin-like decor of this bar/restaurant very aesthetically pleasing and instantly welcoming, the bathrooms are so clean, well-kept and sanitized you will wonder if you stumbled into a medical plaza rather than a bar. Owing to the gregarious and attentive owner, as well as the young, but very professional bartenders, Gooney's has created the comfort and atmosphere of a dive bar, without the grime and occasional hiccups that often plague those establishments. The food is varied and delicious and the fairly-priced craft beers and cocktails are always spot on. Whether you're a regular or just passing through, I can promise a great experience and you might just leave with a new friend or two.”

“First time here and the staff is amazingly friendly. Place is much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. They quickly served me chips and salsa and WOW!! Chips were warm and fresh and the salsa has AMAZING flavor. Ordered the Chile Verde!! Wow!! I love chili verde and order it at many places and make it myself too. You will NOT be disappointed. Large portion... came hot ... pork is so tender and flavor right on!! Great spot!! So happy I stopped here.”

“A small shop in a small town, but the staff was very friendly, quick and efficient, and unlike some other locations I've been to recently, they don't short you on the meats! It's nice to see employees who do it right rather than act like every slice of ham or pepperoni comes out of their paychecks. The food is great, and while they have definitely gotten a lot more expensive over the last few years (I miss $5-7 sandwiches) it isn't highway robbery either.”

“First timer here! I asked for a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and the largest size. The girl delivers and it was only 6 bucks! I was impressed with the coffee and price and well my whole experience was great! Not sure why this place got low rating before? But my experience was great! Thanks gals”

“The bread sticks were a little doughy, but the staff are always incredible, super clean restaurant and the pizza is awesome! I always order to go but it's a nice little place with some games for kids and a salad bar. The parking is really good and easy to get in and out of. The ranch is made in house and they are famous for it, everyone orders extra. I'd you dine in it looks like they have beer and wine as well. Have not had desserts yet, will have to try them sometimes x.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a small space and the parking lot has a grade to it but the door is pretty wide and the floorplan is wide open with small cafe style tables spread out”

“Same name and place, re-opened under new owners. The food is significantly better in quality, but the menu is relatively limited. The burger patties are authentic and handmade. I'd love to see them expand upon their menu's fries seasoning and other foods such as hot dogs, nachos, finger foods, and desserts.Parking: Small entrance/exit, but enough parking for even busy lunch hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for handicapped patrons.”

“Never had the chance to try any food options, however, this is the cleanest and most modern luxury lounge in the county. Miner's Lounge specializes in Craft Special Drinks and has a nice selection of draft and bottled beer. All rustic wood and brick walls with high end leather furniture and wall to wall Screens for multiple sporting events, a luxury in wall electric fire place and bar sports like shuffle puck and corn hole in their banquet room gives lots of options for a nice date or hanging with friends. Got to see it!Parking: Downtown Angel's Camp Parking can be challenging depending on current events.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible from the back alley.”

“What an amazing cup of coffee and bagel! My girlfriend had a lemon poppy pastry that was also amazing. Place is small but very nice, and the staff were great. A lot of pride seen in this establishment. Definitely the coffee stop for your morning exploration of Angels Camp!”

“Wow! We just happened into Renegade today, and I am so glad we did. The patio was super cute, and very dog friendly. I was also so excited to see how many good gluten free options there were...and they actually tasted good! Their wines are equally as delicious...my favorites were the Pinotage, Tempranillo, and Mixed Breed Red. The service was awesome, and everyone is super friendly. We will definitely be back on our next trip!”

“Literally the best Taco truck food I've ever had. I eat at a lot of taco trucks and this one easily takes the cake, that includes anything I've found down in the valley. I usually get the super quesadilla here and I'm never disappointed. Delicious, fresh made with high quality food. Always make it a point to stop here if I'm passing through angels camp!”

“Our class went on a field trip to Mike Hill for California History Day and I stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe!!! Amazing people and amazing coffee and pizza bagel!!!! I highly recommend if you are in the area to pay them a visit!!!! It’s right next to the library!!!!”

“Came here on a recommended by my friend. It was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by home yummy it was. They had lunch specials. I always go for kung pao chicken. I saw the kung pao three items: shrimp, beef, chicken- which I do not see often. They also allowed selection of chow mein with steam rice or fried rice. I picked chow mein and fried rice. I was so good I inhaled the food. Service was super fast, food was nice and hot. Ambiance was very chill. I truly enjoyed it! I also brought home beef chow fun and singapore stir fry (curry rice noddles) I report back after I try. I'm sure it will taste delish I will be back the next time I am in town”

“I have spent more than 3 months at difference hospitals, for the last 3 years, one month at a time(no, I wasn't fat, something else)ANd I would dream about my "Angels". It may sound dopey , but, when I was able to use my walker to get into the reastaurt I was greeted wonderfully......they have no idea who I am, just a plain customer, go in and find out for yourselves. OH, and BTW their food is FANTASTIC ....”
