El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant is a spacious place with amazingly friendly staff. The chips and salsa are warm and fresh, with amazing flavor. The Chile Verde is a large portion, hot, and flavorful. The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients, and the service is super fast and friendly. A combo plate with fish tacos was outstanding, featuring fresh avocado slices. The tortas are amazing and are said to be the closest thing to Tijuana tortas this side of the border. The atmosphere is no frills, yet clean and pleasant, making it a great spot for dining. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. The carnitas and chile relleno have received high praise, while the Machaca is perfect for a late breakfast. With plenty of seating and a clean environment, El Mezcal is highly recommended for a delicious meal at a great price.
