on 8-4-2025 my wife and i had lunch at your restaurant,i had the mo burger. something just did't taste right, for one the burger was cooked hard as a rock and my wife told me to send it back but i did't. i woke up today sick,and the only thing i ate was the mo burger. i do not want anything i just feel the prep on the food is not being watched, a rock hard burger on a small bun is not what you have served in the past. we eat there several times a month.

Carina was our server and she was great! Her beautiful smile welcomed us, and she was exceptionally friendly and professional. She took our orders, served them with that beautiful smile and checked on us a few times. Food was good. I would absolutely eat here again!
Very polite people very clean place. The food was awesome!!! I would recommend to anyone and I will return. The service was phenomenal!!!! My favored is the French Dip and it was sooo delicious!!!

Mel & Faye's Diner is a good place that locals love. The food is good usually, with a perfect American Diner experience. Breakfast is the best in Jackson, with the Country breakfast (2 eggs, crispy thin potatoes, biscuit and gravy, and sausage) and the Denver omelet being awesome. The Senior omelet had a LOT of hashbrowns, and the omelet was great with bacon and cheese. For lunch and dinner, the regular hamburger and moo burger (2x 1/4 lb patties) are good quality and filling. The Aged Prime Rib special is very nice, perfectly cooked to medium rare with a complimentary horseradish side. The butterscotch milkshake is also so good. The staff is nice, kind, understanding, polite, professional, and accommodating, though sometimes in a hurry. The diner has a pick up window and outside seating. The large chocolate chip cookies by the checkout are really good. A great family friendly place for a quick bite to eat.
