Absolutely DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I got into town later in the day (8 pm) and very little was open that was serving food. The front desk at our hotel recommended this diner and it was fabulous. Make sure to indulge in a slice of coconut cream pie. This was the perfect way to end our day.
Fun place with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Friendly staff, generous portions, and yummy food. I had never been here before. I drove 80 miles that morning for breakfast at Mel's. Well worth it. As a bonus for EVers, there are Tesla superchargers (non-Tesla ok) in the parking lot.
We have made it a point to eat here again on our second travel thru Jackson, CA and it was well worth it. Food, Staff, Prices and atmosphere is great. They live up to their longtime existence and reputation!
