Weekday lunchtime at their new location on Hwy 49. Nice place, plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Person at the counter was very nice, efficient. Ordered a sausage sandwich with a cold pesto pasta salad and drink, $18 after tip. Sandwich was good, bread was soft; sausage had good flavor. The pesto salad is what you would expect. The desserts look really good.
They make the best French dip sandwiches ever.
Their new location is gorgeous. I have been eating at the motherlode market since the late '80s. They have recently moved from Jackson to Sutter Hill.
