Service was good quality, quick and friendly. Chicken with rice - pounded breast - tender, flavorfully marinated, and great quality. Pork & beef with vermicelli noodles - deliciously marinated. Egg rolls - delicious. Shrimp on skewers - some of the best shrimp I've ever had - deliciously marinated and coated with sauce, moist and tender. Fish sauce & delicious side salad included with plates. Decent sized dining room, some dine-in, many carry out.

Had an amazing meal, Vermicelli bowl with beef and egg rolls(D11). I have eaten at many Pho style Vietnamese restaurants and Pho Royal is one of the top for flavor and service, period! Nice atmosphere and very clean. Will be returning often!

This has to be one of the best Pho places I have ever eaten I can't even begin to explain how good the egg rolls are. We ended up getting the order to take home but ate them while we were still there.I just can't recommend this place enough It is so so very good. I thought about the review after I started eating and I took a picture after I started eating but I got the shrimp noodles/soup all the soup start with C And my husband got the house special C which was all beef and it was excellent.But here's the picture that I took after I started eating and I can kick myself for not having photos of everything for you folks.
If you enjoy authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place. Took over the old Vermincelli restaurant. We tried the chicken and shrimp pho to get a taste of how good they are. If they can't make a good broth, the rest doesn't matter. A good friend told us about the place and said all of the food is excellent. I agree. BTW, a small bowl is plenty for 2 meals. Will go frequently.

I absolutely love pho, one of my favorite foods! As soon as I walked in, immediately greeted! I got a small vegetarian pho with beef broth. I only waited for a few minutes (give or take 5 minutes) and my food was already on the table along with a plate of bean sprouts and a lemon slice. The broth was so clean and refreshing. Definitely a great meal on a cold day! I would definitely recommend coming here again and for anyone to try it!!

Pho has become our favorite "dine out" dish. We look for it on the road and routinely have it at ABC in Folsom, Thai Kitchen in Lodi, and Coriander in Midtown if we're there. To find a good pho option so close will save us time and gas. Leslie had the vegetarian in beef broth, and I had beef ball/rare steak. My toughest decision was large or small. Went with the small, which with extra noodles from Leslie's bowl was big enough. Deep, complex and perfect. Wish the beef choices had some vegetables in them but, based on everywhere, that's not traditional pho. Hope they add a wonton/noodle.
