Wonderful Italian American immigrant food in a historical setting of California gold country. We were gathering old records from our family who lived nearby around 1900 and were glad that we stopped. We will be back if we are in the area again for a visit. Highly recommend the minestrone soup and the meatball sandwich.

This place used to be Brickhouse Brews,which we loved! Great French Dip Sandwich! This new place Saluti's offers nothing like it. We were not that happy with their food selection,and will not be coming back. We had been coming to Brickhouse Brews for years! The new staff is very friendly and helpful,but the menu,to us,leaves a lot to be desired.
Popped in to this charming Main St restaurant on the recommendation of a local photographer who was shooting drone footage over the town! Happy to say he was bang on the money. This has to be one of the nicest Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at, and I've travelled to Italy several times! Very friendly and attentive wait staff, absolutely delicious, generous sized portions, and a great ambience and decor. The garlic bread starter was out of this world! I'm only in Jackson for one night, but I wish it were longer! Thanks!

After waiting for a solid hour, a large group left and there were three tables ,we were next in line and 1 of our party went over there to make sure we were not going to get overlooked. We were pointed out a table and we said excuse me we would like that table versus this one, (the worst spot in the place ..),they not only said no, they allowed some people that came in after us to take one of the two tables, and leave us with the one that everyone passes by going in and out of the place when I've got a crutch to deal with,too! They ALLOWED another customer to be quite rude to us about this, as well. Sometimes in the restaurant business you have to have a bit of a backbone to do the right thing and not screw your patrons, or allow some to screw others, especially when they've been there waiting for at least an hour!

Fresh into a new place on historic main Street this was an absolute legendary find. Top level service, food that just hit every high note, and great company from a couple of locals that made perfect suggestions off the menu. An absolute must if you want brilliant Italian in a gorgeous setting. If I wasn't from Australia and road tripping I'd make this a weekly visit.
