Stopped for gas and saw a sign that said "BBQ inside". As soon as I smelled the food I couldn't resist, so I put in an order. Truly, the best ribs I've had in my life! The owner was also very kind and we had a good conversation. An absolute gem of a restaurant and I will certainly be back if I'm ever in the area.

Real Texas BBQ. Mandatory stop on the way back from the Sierra Nevada. Rob and Ian delivered great service, too.

Oh my gosh, I just had to stop through to grab some gas and I saw they had a BBQ spot inside and wanted dinner. it was literally the best! The brisket — my fav was absolutely incredible! I even asked if they would consider entering the Reno Rib Cook Off. definitely stopping through again, and even grabbed a menu. As a wedding photographer - 100% recommend this for catering for a reception! You will not be disappointed. Love at first bite!

Pulled in to get gas and noticed a two great signs of good bbq. Actual smoke billowing over the roof. When I walked in, they were out of mostly everything. I had whatever was left: pulled pork bbq. Every bite was delicious. The meat was moist and flavorful, the sauce was an excellent complement. Rob was super nice. Highly suggest a visit.

Cousin and I were headed back to the Bay Area after a great weekend in Sonora. Got a bit hungry to start the road trip back and saw a bright Orange sign saying Barbecue. Made a U-turn and checked it out.
I ordered the Brisket Sandwich and cousin ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, their version of coleslaw and brisket . Man was that brisket juicy tender melt in your mouth! The caramelized onion, pickles and the bbq sauce was a great touch. Even the pulled pork sandwich was juicy and tender and very flavorful. The coleslaw and baked beans was also mind blowing!
Rob you and your sons really do know how to do BBQ right! Hope you expand to the Bay Area one day because you’d smoke out all these BBQ Joints out here for sure!

I've never written a review for anything before, but the food here is special. Best brisket in California. All around fantastic BBQ, better than most Bay Area BBQ. Great place to stop by on your way from Yosemite (short detour) or the Eastern

The absolute best BBQ I have ever had. The food and the service is impeccable. The ribs literally fall off the bone. The brisket melts in your mouth and the sausage omg don't even get me started. They have a regular Texas style and jalapeno cheddar they are both absolutely to die for. As a sous chef I highly recommend this place they set themselves apart from any other restaurant in Sonora it is incredible. I have tried everything on the menu and they don't disappoint. Me and my wife even recently tried a secret menu item that the chef has been working on he is calling them burnt rib ends and the sauce is absolutely incredible. Please try out this local business you will not be disappointed.

A spontaneous stop on our honeymoon trip around California, but easily the best! We shared a Texas Trinity so we could try a bit of a selection and all of the food was better than any barbecue we had previously eaten. Ribs were amazingly smoky and perfectly cooked, sausage had a good snap and lovely flavour, but the brisket was the highlight, so much that we ordered an extra half pound so we could have some more! Would definitely recommend making the trip here to try all of their lovely food, the staff were super friendly and helped us choose our order and we couldn't be happier!

My husband and I got 2 bbq brisket sandwiches from here for lunch and it was amazing. The sandwiches were perfect! The brisket had an amazing flavor by itself and the bbq sauce they pair with it made it even better. I can’t wait to come back and try their beans- another customer got those and they looked super good as well.

Best Texas style BBQ ever tried! Maybe a bold statement but imo nothing in Bay Area comes close to what Fasty's has to offer. Such a pleasant surprise finding this hidden gem at the small historical Jamestown over a year ago, and I have been going back there numerous times since. If I have to pick, the brisket is my favorite. highly recommend. I like their pullpork, tri-tip, and turkey as well; other folks tend to have the meat too dry, not Fasty's, their bbq is so juicy, even the trip-tip and the turkey breast. If you want some extra kick, I find their bbq goes perfectly well with wasabi!. Not to mention paring them with wine or beer. Just writing this review makes me want to have some Fasty's right away! If you are in the area and craving for some good BBQ. Fasty's is the place to go. hands down. --JK
