Of course stuff can be priced higher but if people know how an economy works it's basic supply and demand. You're not going to go all the way into town for a jar of Mayo or do all your grocery shopping here. The meat is very good and have never had an issue. Staff is always friendly and the owner are very humble.
This place has been great for Jamul for years. I think lately they may be taking advantage of using inflation as a excuse for raising prices. The current price of a scoop of guacamole is $10 and a small scoop of rice in a container is $4.50. Those prices are more expensive than La Jolla. Come on you guys!!
If you want the best Mexican food in all of San Diego than come here. Jaime will make you the best food you have ever tasted bar none. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little taste from heaven. You will thank me later. ?
