Waking up in the morning, with the beautiful River view and warmth of the fire place was a dream. We were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the room was. We stayed in the Sonoma. Beautiful sunset, and very kind staff. Gave us a little goodie bag for breakfast and helped us with a restaurant selection for dinner. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful location, comfortable space and really helpful manager. Reasonable price. A friend recommended Jenner and it's got some of the nicest hikes we've taken, within a 10 minute drive or in one case walking up the street by the hotel. The estuary is across the street and beautiful with tons of birds. It was lovely in December--can't imagine how lovely it would be in summer. Our room in Jenner Inn was great. Nice space--plenty of places for our stuff.. A little porch to sit out and watch the water. Wifi worked great as did Direct TV. We brought our own HDMI cable so we could plug in our computer to watch Netflix. Cafe Aquatica across the street has amazing food and the grocery store in the gas station is surprisingly well stocked. Great base for the wonderful hikes nearby. We also had a few days where we were socked in with a COVID scare, and Melanie, the manager was just so nice and helpful--lending us some dishes so we could eat in our room. And then giving us good advise on hikes when we knew we were ok. We're going to come back to Jenner again and we'll definitely stay here.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Jenner Inn this past weekend. Kaitlin was extremely helpful when there was an issue with our room. Thank you for all your help Kaitlin and we can’t wait to stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Jenner Inn this past weekend and we were blown away by it! The staff was beyond friendly, helpful and accommodating. The cottage we stayed in was immaculate, charming and decorated so nicely. The house came with complimentary breakfast and there were games, books, puzzles, etc available to borrow during our stay. The staff gave us tons of great recommendations for where to hike, eat and explore. We felt so welcome and had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back. Huge thank you to the amazing ladies running the place-we couldn’t stop talking about how great you both were.

I am looking forward to returning to the Jenner Inn later this month. Our last stay was in the Pomo bungalow which we LOVED. I was sad to learn they no longer accept small dogs in that particular room. It has a huge table great for puzzling while drinking wine and watching the ocean. It had a great deck for enjoying the small yard and was nice to sit out there with our tiny dog safely. The kitchen was lovely and huge and well equipped and the place had TWO bathrooms!! We don't even have two bathrooms at home so that was a treat. The breakfast was awesome, ample and leftovers were nice to take hiking later in the day. We have two upcoming reservations for two other rooms. We were trying to gauge the table size in the pictures for puzzling while we enjoy water views with our dog and a good glass of wine. We can't afford to own a whole coastal cabin or a sea ranch timeshare, but we can afford a few visits to the Jenner Inn each year which is a wonderful second option.

Didn't want to leave. Our room was right on the river with a lovely deck to enjoy it. The room is spacious, and nicely furnished. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. I felt bad they are still forced to ware a masks, but alas, this is California and not Florida, where people are free.

On March 3, 2022, my husband surprised me with a night away at Jenner Inn. There were some good things about the place and some bad. First, the good things were: The people who my husband booked it with were really friendly. It was clean. It had beautiful views. They left a nice breakfast box with 2 apples, 2 oranges, 2 bananas, 2 granola bars, 2 muffins and 2 greek yogurts. Next, the bad thing were: There was no furnace in the room, so when we got in late at night it was really, really cold. There was however, a gas fireplace and one space heater. It took from about 8pm until 2am before the temperature was comfortable and I could take off my coat and scarf. Try sleeping in those.... There was supposed to be WIFI calling, but it did not work. Thankfully we had a lap top and could communicate with our kids back home through the internet. If we hadn't brought our laptop there would have been no way to contact anyone. Very scary if you had an emergency. There was another couple at the office where you pick up your keys that were having the same issue. The worst thing, which we felt was totally unacceptable was the bed. The bed was so worn that it sagged/dipped deeply in the center. It was so bad that my husband and I couldn't even sleep together. I had to sleep on the couch, which wasn't comfortable either and we both had sore backs all night and the next day. This was completely unacceptable, especially for the price. We would not recommend this place to anyone. The views were great, but not at the price of not being able to sleep in the bed, especially when you are there as a couple wanting to have a romantic night away. We were so physically sore and unhappy with the experience that we were out of there by 7am and didn't even want to enjoy the views.

Misrepresented accommodation! Reservations for three very senior travelers on 3/2/22. $300.00. A beautiful rainy day and a nice quaint room with a view of the sea… The management assured us that it would accommodate three because it featured a comfortable hide a bed…Wrong! The hide a bed featured protruding springs In a 4” mattress, that was not usable. I (6-4), had to sleep on a well used 5’ couch, and the ladies slept in a well used queen size. The good part was the Continental Breakfast: (in a box that included 3 Nature bars & fruit, gaff included) Naturally, the manager was gone & the office was closed… thanks for the. memories! Joseph B. We stayed in two different rooms, the Milky Way and the Monte Rio. Without a doubt, the Monte Rio was the absolute winner!!!!! It was bigger than my own apartment, had FAR MORE privacy and less noice than the Milky Way and was just truly truly perfect. I would come back to Jenner just to spend time in the Monte Rio again. The Milky Way was a nice room but there are NO CURTAINS in the bathroom. Literally, someone goes onto the balcony, they can see you on the bathroom. Same with kayakers and possibly one of the rooms above you. These pics are of the Monte Rio (cause again, hands down the winner) The staff were all super sweet, the area gorgeous and overall just a great place to unwind.

The Jenner inn was the most amazing place and the reviews do not do it justice so listen to me when I say our room was SO LUXURIOUS, I was shocked!! We stayed at the Jenner inn with your fur child Peter in the Milky Way room. The first words out of my husbands mouth were "WOW" when we walked through the door and saw the amazing bathroom, huge deck right on the water looking out to the Russian river meeting the ocean, and the adorable and quaint feel of being in a vintage place while being so upscale! The inn keepers were so sweet and so accommodating and we loved the almost contactless check in and stay it was so nice feeling safe and secluded while it was a fairly busy weekend in Jenner! I can't say enough about this slice of heaven carved into highway 1. We will be back many times we cannot wait to go back and stay in the Milky Way room again! Please support this inn! It is beautiful and so much to do if you like paddle boarding, kayaking, beach combing, or hiking! Pet friendly too! Can't beat that! Thanks Jenner inn! You have us for life!

Had a perfect stay here for my birthday! We stayed in the Grey Whale Room and had everything we needed. If you can plan to be there for sunset, the views are unbelievable. The staff was so nice and made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay and gave us great recommendations. The breakfast was a boxed continental breakfast. It was simple but delicious and plentiful. Can't wait to to come back!

Really disappointed. It's in such a great location, and has such promise but it was only very disappointing. I stayed three nights; the first night was fine, although there is a very annoying moldy smell that permeates the room. The mattress was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. But....that's it - really nothing else good about the room. The second night I was there, it sounded like someone was doing remodeling in the room above me from about 11 PM until around 1 AM, which is when I began banging on the ceiling letting them know I was not happy at all with the noise. After I banged on the ceiling about three different times, they finally stopped. It was the worst night's sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Definitely NOT worth the price, and I would not advise staying here. Certainly will never stay at this inn again.

Very satisfied with the room. Simple and in a great location. Quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. Clean. Wish the comforter was softer. It was very stiff and like dead weight. That was our only complaint. Quite a lot to do around the area. We will return.
