This restaurant is an incredible experience. We made dinner reservations and absolutely loved our meals. I had a cockail and my husband had a glass of wine at the bar and then were seated. We had a view of the ocean and got to enjoy the sunset! The food was absolutely delicious! They have a pre-fixe menu with three items (appetizer, entree, and dessert) and you can also order items al la carte. They were flexible if you wanted to order just one item off the pre-fixe menu as well. Excellent customer service, incredible views, and the food was absolutely amazing. You can also enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine and sit out on their patio and enjoy the view! Make reservations in advance and enjoy this amazing place on the Sonoma Coast!

The restaurant staff was absolutely amazing. They helped me propose to my girlfriend. I trusted them with the ring and they brought it out on a plate with our desert making it extremely special. The food and atmosphere was wonderful too. The cypress room was very nice with an amazing view. Definitely recommend!

Visiting the Headlands House was magnificent! Very clean, spacious and organized house. Second time visiting and will visit again. Peaceful tranquil environment where you can think and meditate with no Interruptions. Watching the waves and the seagulls, ducks and sea otter bobbing its head in and out of water. Rooms are bare minimum. Outdated. Not even an iron. Wifi is very bad. Restaurant was closed when we went and there is no where else to eat nearby. Very bummed with our entire experience.

Website menu page clearly states “ FEATURING OUR DUNGENESS CRAB TASTING MENU THROUGH APRIL” which is why we booked dinner there.However, there was NO CRAB AT ALL when we dined there three nights ago. Asked the waitress about it and she just shrugged & said out of season. Granted the season is closed in California, but Washington & Oregon are shipping quality live crabs to CA.No other specials to make up for it, just the basic menu. Tuna was saturated in sauce, could not tast the fish. Party of two, $500 not including tip. Not worth it.Food & drinks: False advertising!
