We decided to stop by while we were visiting the visitor's center. The food was good but not great. The food is a little expensive and the facility really needs an update. Service was alright. The location is great, if the food was better it would be perfect.
Great place to visit for a day to two days. Driving around within the park is really quick and convenient. Campsites book really fast. Cottonwood campgrounds ideal for viewinf the night sky. Trails are mostly easy. Carry sun protection-sunscreen, caps, dark glasses and plenty of water. Sighted a bighorn sheep at Barker Dam!
Not the best place to get sandwiches. But if you want beverages before you enter the park this place will work. I would recommend only buying prepackaged foods at this place. The staff is rude and Based upon others, I wouldn't recommend the made to order foods.
