Thank you very much again, for the last minute dine-in accommodation. Food was delicious too.

Still hasn't gone back to being a real restaurant after COVID. Still serving in plastic plates and plastic forks. Ridiculous and lazy.

The food and the service was wonderful. Don't let the fact that it's in a little strip mall cause you to miss out on some great Thai food!

Delicious food! We ordered for 20 people and they went above and beyond giving us even extra and everyone was so pleased! Highly

Excellent food and such a sweet caring small family business. Not sure why there’s negative reviews based on looks of the building that they do not own. My wife and I got a variety of food and every bit of it was on point. Would definitely eat here again.

Food very mediocre. And served on paper plates. Plastic forks and knives. $66 for four people. No drinks. Not worth it and will never go back.

We were asked to go and pour our own water from the pitcher into Styrofoam cups. My sister has MS so I did it, but why? Everything is served with plastic utensils and disposable containers for dining in. I was asked if I wanted rice with my curry, yes. They charge extra for rice. The curry was oil based with a small amount floating at the bottom of a small disposable tray. My sister's pork veggie stir fry had no spice or flavor. This was the worst Thai food experience I've ever experienced.

First of all food tasted good. Everything after that lacked. I ordered a number 38 and she thought I said three which was dumplings. They came to the table but I thought it came with the mail so we ate them and I was starving but she refused to say she was wrong and that she swore that’s what she heard was number three I told her no it was 38. My husband heard me too. Anyways we paid for the dumplings because we did eat them but I really think she should’ve gave me a discount on them because it was her fault for not listening, but oh well . She said she didn’t charge me for the rice on the meal that I did originally order finally came 20 minutes later after my husband had already eaten but the rice was only one dollar so that’s what was taken off the bill, then you serve your own water if that’s what you want to drink you have to go up and get it yourself and all the food comes in to go containers so you’re eating out of plastic not on dishes so they’re not doing dishes, and I have to get up to get my own drink, so there’s no service she didn’t even come back to check on us so needless to say I gave her minimal tip. A tip is for service, which we did clearly not get. And the atmosphere forget about it. It’s disgusting it’s old dated no music. Super quiet. Sounds like you’re in a library. It feels weird to talk to somebody because everybody can hear everything. There’s no atmosphere at all and all the curtains were closed so there wasn’t much light and the heater was set at 62. It was freezing in there and it was $40 for both of us. I’m so disgusted with eating out anymore you pay so much and get so little back. I recommend taking it to go and it does have a B rating which we noticed on the way out.

I would love to be able to give this restaurant five stars because the food is so delicious, but the restaurant itself is a little run down, not particularly clean, and they are no longer serving on plates and dishes but rather serving all food in containers to go. Although you can sit in the restaurant and eat.We have been eating at Royal Siam whenever we're in the 29 palms and Joshua tree area since the original restaurant opened over 30 years ago, and it is definitely a little worse for the wear. That said, parking is always plentiful and easy and the restaurant is within easy walking distance of some wonderful small shops and artist galleries. And we have no argument whatsoever with the food. It's always richly flavored and delicious.

What an amazing food food. First time ever ate here yesterday while visiting Joshua tree NP. Stir fried vegetables and tom kha soups best ever I had. And we are back here again today

There was nowhere to find a current menu so I've uploaded the pictures. When I called, the lady said we don't have our menu online, just come in. I wanted to order take out. So she said, just tell me the Thai food you like, we have most. I didn't like that so she said look at the old menus online, it's 90% accurate. Two of the things I wanted (wontons and satay) were no longer on the menu. So I went in to place my order and...wait...and wait...so I could take the takeout. Good times. The ambiance is nothing to share. Block walls and panel drop ceiling remind me of the elementary school I went to. Non-matching, random light fixtures remind me of a grandparents home where they liked (for look or price) the fixtures and just randomly placed them with no care for the environment. If there is any other Thai choice in the area, I will try it next time.(Please note, takeout experience which I know can reduce quality) Just had to update my review from 2 stars to 1 after eating the food. I thought no way I'd have to reduce to a 2, Thai food is usually "pretty good". Wow, this place really leans into the IDGAF mentality. Ordered a few things and none of it was great. The only thing they do well is add spice which I guess is to cover the flavorless food they serve. I took pictures of the lack of chicken in the orange chicken. I don't see much chicken and it doesn't really look like chicken. BTW, they mentions it would take longer for the orange chicken...like it was special or something and not from a. Frozen box. We also had drunken noodles, pad see ewe and red curry. The red curry was the only average meal. All the rest was slightly below average at best.

I'm local and sadly this is the only Thai place left as an option. Food was ok. Pad Thai was sad. I hear the curry is good. Service was hilarious - the place was freezing because clearly they didn't want the heat on and the server was wearing a winter jacket the entire time. Normally I'd assume their heat was temporarily broken but people have reported them not having the heat on for at least a month if not more. The decor is like going back to a Grandma's living room in the 1980s; strange, vague, barren, cold. The prices and shop hours leave me scratching my head. I guess it's supply and demand. There's nothing else available for Thai and this place is blessed with being in a location that tourists see. So they must stay afloat because of pure luck of location/supply/demand. Eagerly awaiting a better Thai place to open in the area.
