What a find! Sam’s was a surprise gem amongst the standard burger joints in the area. The food was great, the atmosphere relaxing. We tried the pizza and it did not disappoint! They took extra special care for our special occasion and I would hands down go back there again and recommend it to anyone in the area. The homemade mango ice cream is NOT TO BE MISSED, I’d go back to Joshua Tree just for the ice cream!!! Thank you for making our night!

This was my first here and i was not disappointed. The food was delicious. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic Naan for my wife, and I got the Bollywood pizza. I'm interested to try the other menu items. The place it's self was very nice. Very chill and the staff were super nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food in the Joshua Tree area.

After driving almost 3 hours we arrive and they tell us they are only doing takeoutI just about begged her to let us eat we were so hungry and tired. She refused. So we regrouped and came back to order takeout and now the lady is out smoking and says no takeout orders now either.I told her we drove back and she didn't care. What a nasty person. So we will Never go again to try the food. Unless that lady working tonight is GoneI don't care how good the food is, the first person you deal with is herVery disappointedSo Rude

Place looks bad from the outside as it is right next to a liquor store but once you step in you get surprised by how nice and clean this little restaurant is! The atmosphere is dark and calm great for a 1-1 or even a family dinner.I had butter chicken for take out and it was very decent however the Naan was burned and crisped which I didn’t consider acceptable for a $5 naan.

Surprisingly soo good! I was not expecting to find good Indian food in Joshua Tree, however we decided to give it a try and get something new for a change and wow I'm so glad we took the chance! Everything was delicious and our server was amazing. She was so attentive and even went and bought my niece toys from next door to play with and let us keep them!! So sweet. Also, the naan is truly the best garlic naan I have ever had and I loveee naan. The chai certainly could have been better but that was honestly my only complaint! The pizza was so fun and delicious I highly recommend getting a small one to at least try!

We visited Joshua tree park and there's not much option in that area. We came across this hidden jewel. Indian food that also serves pizza. We weren't expecting much and we were surprised! We ordered the mini pizza for our kids and a garlic naan which was delicious! The tandoori chicken was not what we expected. It was served on a hot plate with spice and grilled pepper and onion. It wasn't bad. We also ordered one of the curry lamb options and it was great. They could use another server as that place was busy and the only server was trying her best to keep up. To be fair it was close to the closing time. Nevertheless with the only Indian food option in close proximity of Joshua tree city, I would say it held up pretty good.

Food: Naans were not cooked. The wrapping was to tight as they packed 5 naans in the same foil. It was not cooked and became soggy by the time it reached home. This was a togo order. Curries were so bad, felt like onion pest with some random spices. I know how an Indian curry is made and this is pure trash with no taste and flavor. Service: The lady on the front desk took order and said 15 minutes for a pickup. We came after 20 mins and guess what, they gave our order to somebody else or may be they were lying as they gave the naans to the dine in people and made us wait for another 20 minutes. 15 mins turned into 40 mins wait with no regrets to the owner. Atmosphere: Shady and dark. Avoid this place at all costs, save money, get good food somewhere else while you are enjoying in the desert. I with i can give -ve stars.

One of the biggest pleasant surprises of my Joshua tree trip. Stellar Indian food (butter chicken was super flavorful) and pizza (honestly the straight up pepperoni was the highlight). Wonderful family spot.

What a surprise! The sign for this Indian restaurant states it also serves subs and pizza. I was skeptical but hungry. So we stopped in. We had the Mango Vegetable Curry, Tikki Masala Chicken and garlic naan. Each one was full of flavor. I’d give it a 4.5.

I ordered (take-out) lamb curry. Waited an additional 30 minutes from the time given to me once I arrived to pick up. I was shocked when I opened my container once I got home. A plethora of rice and only 4 tiny pieces of lamb. The taste was good (not exceptional) and the meager serving a joke. I live nearby so I stopped back and commented on the minuscule amount given for such a high price. No comment. Much as I would like to patronize this restaurant, I can’t justify the cost with the results.
