Outstanding Chai Latte with almond milk. I asked for it to be extra hot, and it was made to perfection. It's a very small cafe not much room for waiting and no tables inside the little coffee shop.

Food took (surprisingly) long for a take-out, the food was mediocre, and they forgot our order even though there was a buzzer and a receipt provided

You place your order and seat yourself. Your order is brought to you. There's an outdoor patio seating area as well as indoors. The food was fresh and delicious. Their drink menu includes coffees and the Chai Tea that I ordered includes milk alternatives. It was one of the best Chai Teas I've tasted. I would recommend The Dez to anyone visiting Joshua Tree. I will also be returning in the near future

Perfect spot to pick up sandwiches and wraps to take into Joshua Tree NP. Tasty food, conveniently located on 62 and opens early enough you can stop on your way in for the day. We ended up grabbing lunch provisions here twice, and everything was great. Highly recommend the chickpea wrap!

What’s not to like? The good folks in there working are so nice, the food is so good, and the coffee beans they use makes the BEST tasting coffee! Bringing a bag home.

The food is delicious, specifically the turkey pesto sandwich. Although some of the items are overpriced, the staff is amiable and patient.

I was passing through and decided to stop here. I ordered the breakfast muffin sandwich (comes with two eggs) with jalapeño beef sausage. It was served in a bowl and when you see how big this is you will understand why.
They source whatever they can locally for example, the English muffins for my sandwich were sourced from a local bakery(I will be stopping there to buy a package of these. They were so good!)
The eggs were fried to prefection and the sausage was grilled the same. I actually had to use my fork and knife to eat this. (Maybe why it’s served in a bowl? I also ordered a vanilla caramel latte, which was just as good no bitterness. If my road trip brings me back this way I will definitely stop here again. Staff were friendly and timely with the delivery of food.

I came in on a quiet morning and ordered cakes and a cinnamon roll. The place was not busy at all (I was the only customer) but somehow they managed to miss packing in the cinnamon roll despite charging for it. The cakes were fine but I felt quite cheated when I checked the bag later and discovered the roll was missing.

The sandwiches were very yummy and so was the smoothie! The service is just super slow. I completely appreciate that it’s a smaller place and busy but the workers need to have a better system of delegating tasks / managing customers at the front. I’m happy to wait for a sandwich but being told I’d have to wait 15 minutes and then having to wait 45 AFTER I had to remind them was frustrating. It’s too bad because the food was good but the service ruined it.

They have a few vegan salad options as well, but the vegan chickpea wrap was so delicious! Great spot to grab a bite when visiting Joshua Tree.
I've only been there for their coffee and I do like it.

Quick and easy stop for good food. Only 2 customers allowed in the building at a time so sometimes it's a small line but not to bad. Your not sitting down to eat at this place but perfect for something quick to grab b4 a hike or anything outdoors. I'm not a vegetarian by any means but all I ever get wen I go
Parking: 3 or 5 spots to park between the north and West side. A bunch of parking out back. I wouldn't leave anything unlocked or things u care about accessible as there are alot of squatters and transients across the highway in the desert field. Kinda hard to see but they're there
Kid-friendliness: Everyone in this establishment is totally friendly
