No food here, BYO food. Have been here a few times, this was Lacking quality ciders. The cost has significantly increased. We had 4 ciders & it was $50, not including a tip on that! Service is good here, Yes It is overly dog friendly. There was a barking dog they allowed to stay inside the "barn". Not great to sit through. We moved outside. I mostly like the orchard site: Beautiful setting/venue. Just not worth the price 4 the quality/taste. Julian hard cider 🍎 takes the PIE 🍏. Better tasting.

It was a cute fun experience but didn't thrill me. The drink menu was very small and unfortunately I didn't like any of the ciders they had at that time. I got the flight to try them all and they were all very dry and bitter. Of course this is all personal preference but they weren't my favorite drinks. There is also no real bathroom. There is a portapotty but that's it. It is also just an open barn so it does get pretty cold. They are very dog friendly as well but do also have dogs that live on the property so if you bring your own dog, make sure they are well-behaved and good with other dogs. They did have a lot of cute seating areas and did have portable heaters going so that was nice. In the back, there was a large field you could walk through and see chickens. Overall it was a cute place and many people there seemed to enjoy it and have a good time, im just not sure if I would go back.

This was the perfect place to end our day in Julian! I had a glass of red wine but I tried the cider and both were delicious, easy drinking. The bartender was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed with great indoor and outdoor seating.

While we didn’t have food per se, we did a flight of cider that was interesting and tasty. The vibe is super cool, Ian is great, and Scout is awesome (the resident dog). Loved the games available too. Thanks for a cool visit!

I ordered two flights of cider tasters so the four of us got out of there a little over $30 Plus a tip. The atmosphere is really nice up there. The cider was really good. The creativity for the different ciders was really good. No real food to be had which was a little disappointing. The atmosphere is nice but the day we went up there it was a bit hot. The picture I took was from where they sourced their hops to add flavor to the cider.

After a great hike through Santa Ysabel East in the morning, Calico Cidery was the perfect place to marinate and sip. Lots of space and fresh air, great ciders, and friendly service. Make a point of stopping here to enjoy life for a few hours.
