2225 Main St, JulianThis place is probably worth visiting Julian for.The pies look and taste incredibly fresh. The place also looks very rustic, authentic, cozy, and charming. It’s an experience. We got the original apple pie a la mode, the pecan pie, and the peach apple crumb pie. I recommend all, but if you get one thing, get the original apple pie.

Fat Anthonys Italian Delicatessen
2128 4th St, Julianmy pics don't do it justice. Fat Anthony's did not disappoint. This sandwich is the Hodads of the sandwich world. it's a shame its tucked all the way up in julian. the sandwich was huge, the meat was excellent and generous portions. the veggies were equally generous and fresh and the gourmet pickle was a nice touch. my new favorite go to at julian

The Cooler, Tap & Tasting Room

Never one must forget the beauty of mead !We stopped next door for cider and it was sadly closed but ended up being a good thing because we got to stop by The Cooler and have some yummy beer flights .Ashley was informative about the selection, and they have games and a pool table which made the place even more fun .The German chocolate cake stout by smoking cannon is the bees knees !!Cheers !

2603 B St, JulianJust off the main road, so you won’t see it if you don’t turn up into the neighborhood. Friendly staff. Lots of outdoor dining perfect for a nice day. When they say the molcajete is enough to feed 2 people, they aren’t kidding. The dish itself could use a little work as there wasn’t much depth of flavor. If it wasn’t for the spicy salsa we got on the side, then it would’ve been too bland for my preference. Washing it down with a locally brewed jalapeño beer was fantastic.

The Pub at Lake Cuyamaca
15027 CA-79, JulianThis place is simple amazing! The service by the staff especially our server, Emily, was exceptional! The food quality was incredible and the portion size was very generous. We sat outside on the newly renovated deck that overlooks Lake Cuyamaca. The atmosphere adds so much to the total experience. We will be making this a regular outing of ours. I highly recommend this place!

2124 3rd St, JulianWhile visiting Julian , CA it's hard to not go for a cup of afternoon tea in this cottage built back in the 1800's that oozes vintage vintage! We decided to do the tea for two plus one child which totaled to about $61, which I think wasn't too pricy considering we were pretty full at the end of our tea party, so worth the price and experience !The decor is just amazing and takes you back to an authentic historical period , I mean imagine going back in time and having tea in the cottage dressed in 1870's gear just tea-ing it with your girlfriends... too cute ! The service was very on point... the young lady helped us make a good decision on our tea selection from the menu. She was very kind and tea knowledgeable. The store is equipped with millions upon millions of tea items , tea time trinkets.... Honey ... did I mention tea ? There is a wall of tea!At the end we were gifted with some small satchel of tea, which I though was pretty nifty. I recommend parking at the back of the property as it may be very difficult to find parking on the main streets at times .This is my second visit to the tea house and I must stay I enjoyed both visits and could literally spend hour there just going through each item!

Jeremy's On the Hill
4354 CA-78, JulianA little gem near Julian (which, imo, lacks good food...) Next to the 79, Chef Jeremy proposes a fun & tasty menu and at very decent price. The outdoor patio provides a relaxing Sunday retreat and the service is friendly & efficient. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the menu. Cheers!

2000 Main St, JulianThis is a must visit cafe! We went right at lunch time and were sat immediately. I had their tuna curry sanwhich and salad combo. My husband thinks they are the best burgers in San Diego. The little ones like their variety of grilled cheese. My folks enjoyed a BLT and sweet potato fries. Everything we had was delicious! We often come in the winter for their Thai curry chicken soup after a day of snow fun.

The counter service was efficient and friendly, and indoor and outdoor bench, bar & table seating was super family friendly and not too rowdy-loud. And every year since I was a kid, I look forward to my annual visit the town of Julian to kick off that PSL season. Apple Alley Bakery serves lunch and delicious baked goods. The ladies are as sweet as the pie they serve. My usual spot was closed today, so it was a good time to try a different spot. Ordered their caramel pecan apple pie and it has now become one of my faves in town. All the goodness of apple pie that you know and love but melded together with that ooey gooey goodness that's known as caramel with a pecan nut crunch. Such a medley of textures and warm flavors. Serve it up with a side of their vanilla or churro ice cream and there you have it. An amazing fall afternoon with no other company necessary. Well maybe a cup of black coffee for me. Mr. Coffee's always welcome. They even have gluten free pies. At the time I visited however, I don't think any were baked unfortunately. They do have them frozen for you to take home and bake however. No other pies are frozen or available to bake at home. I hope they can offer frozen pies as an option like other pie shops. Until then, all the pies are baked fresh to perfection each morning.

Golden Apple Restaurant and Bakery
2018 Main St, JulianWe rode all the way from Florida on our bikes to experience this place! We were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing and they even had a band playing while you enjoyed the ciders that were locally made there. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great meal with a cool atmosphere.

2119 Main St, JulianFirst time I came here. I wanted to avoid long line for eat in, so I came here during the weekdays (Tuesday) and it was no line to eat in and it was a relaxing morning. I ate apple pie with vanilla ice cream it was very authentic homemade and delicious.

2134 Main St, JulianKeep in mind we went here on a busy morning with only one waitress(they were not expecting the crowd from the Starfest event that ended early that morning). So it might have been due to that, I'm not sure, but easiest description of the food and coffee is average, best description would be like eating at Denny's. But the atmosphere made up for it or I would have given it a 3 instead of a 4 star rating.Pancakes were a little too dense and dry for my liking, they soaked up too much syrup or too little there seemed to be no in between.
